Is it OK to get that conditioner on the strings? Because the conditioner is getting on the strings. Absolutely. That conditioner soaks into the Q-tip then it spreads throughout the Q-tip. Then the Q-tip touches the strings then conditioner is now on the strings. This is absolute.. I think this is a bad idea.
@CizzleMusic2 ай бұрын
@@Zerpersande it's never caused me a problem. You can always take a rag and slide it between the strings and fret board and run it along the bottom side of the strings after the conditioner dries on the fretboard. You might even put some string cleaner solution on the rag.
@NickShvelidze2 ай бұрын
You can oil your strings as well, if I read it correctly both Lemon Oil and GHS Fast Fret contain the same kind of oil.

Great technique! I was looking for a way to clean and condition the fretboards on my guitars that have vibrato bridges and locking tuners. I have one guitar that has a roasted flame maple fretboard without a clear coat, can this fretboard still be cleaned and conditioned?

I'm going to do it while my old strings are on there and then change one string at a time cuz I have a Martin D12 and a Gibson Electric ESS something just like Roy orbison's I can never remember the thing that I definitely don't want to take the strings off once I took the strings off my 12 string Martin and I had to take it to a Lithia cuz the neck did something weird I called Martin they said they're made out of wood but don't worry they're guaranteed for life nothing like a Martin I love my Martin and my gifts and still has the original strings on it I put on 15 years ago so I'm going to change them I really will

@CizzleMusic Жыл бұрын
You can. I've done this with my acoustics. It works just as well in my judgment.
@davidepannone6021 Жыл бұрын
Honestly i would never recommend to do this as the gunk and oil you move around with the qtip will get into the strings, making them last much less than they would. Besides you just need to do this 2/3 times per year at best unless you live in a VERY and i mean VERY dry place (like in a desert area). So for 90% of people out there, just do it when you restring your guitar, allowing the oil to soak for about 10 minutes and then dry the excess up with a microfiber cloth.

Bro good efforts but the sound quality omg .. Try to mix better the tracks and get more sound stage , you can use also impulses for the cabs (dont use the cab included in the vst ) and pan the tracks . There are some nice plugin for mastering that make a hell of difference .

Having difficulty finding Gibsons Luthiers Choice anywhere
@CizzleMusic2 жыл бұрын
Wow these really are out of stock everywhere at the moment! When I find them again, I'll try to remember posting here. I think I bought the three-pack direct from Gibson last time but even Gibson doesn't have them now ☹
@CizzleMusic Жыл бұрын
So another option here is to use for example the Dunlop Lemon Oil. You can dab that a few times on a paper plate and then mop up the puddle with the Q-Tip and then apply. Or you can buy any other kind of conditioner and transfer the liquid to a small eye-dropper bottle you can buy on Amazon for example. I've done that with the Luthier's Choice polish. Dumped it into a small glass eye-dropper bottle.
