Impressive video, Structured Parametrics. Looking forward to your next upload. I crushed the thumbs up icon on your creation. Keep up the fantastic work. The way you demonstrated the effects of varying wall parameters was really enlightening. How do you see future advancements in this tool impacting the efficiency of retaining wall design in practice?

It's under the 'Struc Scripts' section. the quick convert tools are built into struc scripts.

Nice tutorial. Small feedback though, rename nodes so we can follow which line curve we're input/outputting in/from to make it easier to follow

Thanks for your content, one question: I wonder if this software could give me structural analysis for the tensile membrane structure?🤔 Is it working?
@StructuredParametricsКүн бұрын
Yes there are options for tensile structures. I know kiwi3d has this at least. Maybe others also.

In Latin America we use CYPECAD software, which is for structural and detailed analysis of reinforcements. It is also easy to obtain measurements and documentation. Is it possible to create something similar with Rhino?
@StructuredParametrics5 ай бұрын
It would be possible but would be a lot of work to set up. I don't know if a company would find it worth the effort or not.

Hello, it is possible to create documentation with rhino without depending on revit?
@StructuredParametrics5 ай бұрын
Yes documentation can be created in Rhino alone. It works similar to AutoCAD in that sense.

Hey, nice video. When I try this problem I get this error from AnalysisModel. 1. Solution exception:Method not found: 'Void TeDaSharp.Elements.ElementCurveBeam..ctor(Int32, Int32, Double, Double, Double, Double, Double, Double, Double, System.Collections.Generic.List`1<Double[]>, Double, Double, Boolean, Boolean, Boolean, Boolean, Double, Double, Double, Double)'. do you know what is the problem?

At 6:32 do you get some funky bending on the top chord because the last "triangle" isn't a triangle? I'm guessing that's just like the because you were showing an example only.
@StructuredParametrics6 ай бұрын
You are correct that the non-perfect triangle at the ends can cause large bending moments. They do that shape with an offset to make it possible to manufacturer as it gets tight at the junctions. The rest of the truss shape determines how bad the effect is.

@StructuredParametrics7 ай бұрын
You can make a titleblock from simple lines and text. We made one with titles, dates etc as inputs and made it into a cluster which can be placed anywhere.

What is the name of the plugin under which toolbar "truss analysis" is available?
@StructuredParametrics7 ай бұрын
It is part of the 'struc-scripts' plugin. The component is called 'truss analysis' and the icon is a small truss.

@matteofacino381 Жыл бұрын
Hi! I tried to run the structure analysis on the model that I constructed by following your previous video "Tutorial: Simple Truss Structural Analysis with Karamba in Grasshopper and Rhino". Unfortunately it wasn't possible for me to select the nodes. It seems that the model I made through Grasshopper isn't made by actual points (marked with an "O" in Rhino), but by coordinates (marked with an "X"). I noticed that the same thing happens in your model which I previously referred to. Therefore as I try to "set multiple Points" I'm not able to select them. I hope you can help me solve my problem. Thank you very much.
