Looks like you have a very stable car and rear end. When I tried it today with a set up from PDS it felt very skittish, the back end never settled - as if I didn't have a rear wing. How are you finding this car with the new tyre model? Eg 2:17 you are full throttle through that. If I go full throttle, the car hops over some bumps in the road and the back end steps out - spins.

To be honest I haven't driven the car since before the introduction of the new tyre model, so actually I don't know. 😅

How hard is it to implement traction loss with the SFX100 route? Also do you have a rough cost estimate of the the entire rig? (Minus peripherals, just the motion set up plus traction loss) Looks awesome!

I am in the process of 3D printing all the parts to build mine!

Why did you put duct tape around the motor mounts? Was the 3D printed parts coming apart?

hehe no, the parts there have a small service hole in their design/print to reach a bolt of the shaft coupling that's inside, I simply wanted it covered up so no dust can get inside. Looks ugly but does the job 😅

I'm planning on building one of these, but I've got a question; is there motion cancellation software for VR with the SFX100? I've seen other motion rigs where that's a serious problem...

Did you end up with an answer to this question? I'm keen to build this but also use VR and find that hitting a kerb shakes my headset enough to be distracting (simucube 2 wheel), let alone the violent movement this thing can make!

I don't have any recent pictures, but here's two older ones from right after it was all assembled and used the first few times: i.imgur.com/CIlRekn.jpg i.imgur.com/OonHZ2H.jpg It has changed quite a bit since then though, I've added my airflow fans, keyboard tray, stationary trackball mouse, external monitor mounting, a clutch pedal (I don't really need it, but bought one anyway as it was on sale, since Heusinkveld Pro pedals have been discontinued), and some other minor stuff.. 😅
