I wired the engines on this bird. Very proud of that. Also built many of the wiring harnesses. Cool stuff.

Why does the gear have to stay down so long, and why does ATC (or whoever that was) that authorized them to retract?

35,000 x 4 engines = 140,000 pounds of thrust. That's only 25,000 more than a single GE90 engine, two of which power the subsonic Boeing 777-300ER

Did you guys keep that vendor and remedy the problem or do you get a new vendor which seems like that would be a lengthy process. Good stuff though

Now, let's see footage of the latest X-Plane from the Skunk. Looks a bit ridiculous but is purported to dull the sonic "Boom" down to a sonic "thump".

As a fighter pilot who wrote off going to TPS, this is exactly the kind of video that needs to be put out to get people interested in test. Super interesting, good shit.

0:05 Dude...relax, you're gonna hyperventilate. You sound like a UPT student first flight. It's just a low speed pickup. You are suppose to be the steely eyed, no pulse, test pilot....remember?

Nice tunes and graphics but I don't see a single piece of hardware. Makes me think that maybe there isn't any.

I feel like they need to make the windows small like the concorde because the windows are the weak points of the aircraft and in higher altitudes the difference of the air pressure inside and outside causes the pressure inside to push harder on the walls and if the windows are not small like the concorde this may cause an explosive decompression.
