thanks for this detailed tutorial, so helpful! may i know how to go about doing the fourth, fifth round? how do you know when to alternate 3 puff or 2 puff? sometimes i'm getting 5 petals, sometimes 6, and 7. it is inconsistent. may i know if you are able to tell me why? thank u~
@2LOOPZcrochet3 ай бұрын
Every round you make 1 3-puff extra in between the 2-puff stitches. The start and end is from round 2 the same for every round. So for round 4 the repeat is 3-puff, 3-puff, 3-puff and 2-puff and then round 5 will be 3-puff, 3-puff, 3-puff, 3-puff and 2-puff. Maybe this written pattern helps you out 2loopz.com/placemat-jasmine/ or check this tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaqacmx5mdyHnas If I can help you with anything, let me know!

The pattern is similar to crocheting a flat disc, but instead of using sc and Vs, you're using 2 puffs and 3 puffs- each row adds another 3 puffs to each set. Just like how in a flat disc each row increases a sc before the V.

Hi! I am so glad I found this tutorial! I have two questions (for now! 😂). When you do the front and back post row, the second to last stitch would be a back post SC, and the last stitch would be a regular single crochet? My second question is if the Ch 3 is considered a stitch and the first front post of the next row is done around that stitch. Thank you and greetings from Bolivia.
@2LOOPZcrochet4 ай бұрын
Hi ask me any question you have :) I try to answer them for you. The last stitch isn't a sc but a front post sc, because you work in the round. The answer on your second question is yes, you work the first front post around the ch 3 from the beginning. Hope this helps, let me know if I can helpp you with anything else!

Hey I’m trying to figure out how much is 16.5”x7.5”x22.5” is in chains in trying to make a box but can’t figure out how many chains I should make 😢 hook is 4.0mm
@2LOOPZcrochet4 ай бұрын
Hi, you chain the amount of chains you need to cover the width of the bottom of the box. Just lay the chain on top and see if it is wide enough. Then work your rows of stitches on top until the total bottom is covered. After that you can start on the sides. Hope this helps!!

@2LOOPZcrochet6 ай бұрын
You can make it every size you want, you start the pattern with some measurements. Measure loosely around the neck of your daughter and write this number down. Then measure from the neck to the armpit. Write this number down. Measure from the neck to where you want the top to fall. Also write this number down. You now have all the measurements to make your top. Follow the instructions from the pattern or the tutorial. You can definitely use a size 3 cotton, you need less stitches to get the desired size.

Mine is curving up. Do you think I’m making the stitches too tight. Looking more like a cup than a coaster.
@2LOOPZcrochet6 ай бұрын
Yes that is a possibility, try to make all your stitches the same. You can try to block your work to make it flat, sometimes that will help too. Hope it works!
@MaddieDazey3 ай бұрын
You need to loosen it up a little bit when you pull your yarn through all 2 or 3 puff stitches and bring them together to finish it off. If you pull it together as tight as possible you will end up with a curved bowl shape
@Ed-iw5hc6 ай бұрын
How do you keep the flower centers tight? When I go into a stitch it gets stretched out.
@2LOOPZcrochet6 ай бұрын
Try to pull the loop you held between your fingers before pulling the yarn through a bit tighter before making the slip stitch. You can also pull the slip stitch tighter before making the chain 1. I think that is the problem, hope this helps. If not, let me know!

Thank you for another great pattern. This is the second of your patterns that I am making BUT I've made a mistake in the sizing. I measured the front and back panel from one of my favorite sweaters that fits well but today when I pinned the shoulders together and tried it over my head, it's a size too small. 😖 I can add width to the back panel but then it will be wider than the front; not sure what problems that will create. I am wondering if I can add width to the front panel but how to get around the V in the middle? Can I add width to side with the foundation chain? Your help would be greatly appreciated! 🤞
@2LOOPZcrochet6 ай бұрын
So good to hear that you already made one of my patterns! Lets see if we can fix this together. I am not sure if I completely understand what exactly is the problem. Is it too small at the sides (left to right) or at the neckline or is it too short (top to bottom)? If it is easier you can email me some photos ([email protected]) then I can see better what the problem is and figure out a solution. Let me know😊

why is mine curling its after the sec row begins
@2LOOPZcrochet7 ай бұрын
That could be due to several things. It could only be the beginning, then it will be fine as you continue working, but it could also be that you accidentally increased more than necessary. You can count your stitches to see if you are still on the right track. In the 1st round you will have 10 stitches and in the 2nd you will have 20. Mark the 1st stitch of the round so you know when you have completed it. Hope this helps!

I’m wanting to work on making some of these for some family members who a quite a bit bigger in the shoulders and the trunk area. What would be the starting chain for an XL and a XXL?
@2LOOPZcrochet10 ай бұрын
Hi! The pattern is very easy adjustable to any size. All you need to know is the circumference of the neck (loosely) of the person you are making the sweater for. If the person can't fit the work during the process you can also write down the length you need to reach the armpit and the total length you need for the sweater and the sleeves. With these numbers you can make the sweater. Or measure a wellfitting shirt or sweater, that's also a good option. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need help.
