Lovely album. Melodic and hopeful. Classical and Gregorian influences in there too.

Its so strange acting and feeling genuinely happy with my life, all day, to come back home at night and let the part of me that still craves these sounds enjoy bands like Xasthur

Xasthur isn't just music, every album is an experience. To me, these albums are like someone understands what the inside of my mind sounds like. It's comforting and cathartic to listen to his music, I feel less alone in my daily, gut-wrenching hopelessness and depression. No one can do music like Malefic, his work is the peak of DSBM if you ask me.

It's taken me far too long to discover this. Been a fan of Xasthur for awhile, getting more into Leviathan recently. This album is fucking amazing!

Hey there! Yes, I'm still alive. I've been in recovery for a few years now and things are looking up. I'm almost graduated as a peer support specialist. Still listen to dsbm regularly. How about you? Hope everything's going okay on your end too!

@@Captorrrr Happy to see you running things, Good luck in your career, It's always good to hear news from channels that haven't posted in a while, many things must have changed in your life but it's good that you still listen to DSBM, I'm fine, tomorrow I have a job interview, we keep going

It's going well. Thankyou! I've been in recovery for a few years now. I've built a support network. I'm almost done with a bachelor's degree, and a job is on the horizon. Sometimes, I still listen to dsbm for support, but I also listen to death metal and other music. Back then, I was obsessed with dsbm. Xasthur and other dsbm bands have helped me so much with my struggles with life. And you? How are you doing?
