I’ve been waiting for a new job to open and training before I leave the place I’m at now, I was crying from gratitude last week for a $200 tip, I received last week. a customer tipped me on a $200 tab, and the manager supposedly wants my tip money back because they called a few days later and said it was a mistake and asked for a refund on EVERYTHING!! On the bill and my tip. I don’t know how that’s legal. That money went to bills a week ago. I don’t have it. Don’t even have extra to pay it back since the manager puts me on weird shifts. Even if I paid it back it would take me weeks to pay it back with my schedule. I dunno if this is karma or God wanting to have me leave this job. It was already a toxic work environment, I’d get my daily degrading, from the manager and her minions. And a messed up schedule from the manager. 1st cut and never get to work games anymore (sports bar) or any closing shifts. There for a few hours then cut for the day. I felt if I stayed to myself I’d make it until I could leave, then this happens, I talked to the labor laws. And they could open a claim but I don’t get paystubs to see my hourly.
