I’m a black person, the decedent of an actual slave and what’s throwing me is this comment saying “people don’t know how brutal it was” ummm yes, some of us know and still deal with the aftermath. Some of our actual family members are still alive despite your stupid laws and regulations.This comment didn’t come from a person of color. Thanks for the history lesson I guess? lol

And I hate to tell you sweetheart but there were white slaves, Asian slaves, anyone poor. Oh and a famous black slave owner wrote a book on how to control slaves by making them hate each other... funny how more crimes on black people are caused by another black person. Guess his book wasn't wrong. See I have a biracial son and I do teach him about slavery ALL THE FACTS. This is a great way to insure he will not have a victim mentally like some.

@@taliawesterfield1818there is not a book by a black slave owner but if your talking about Willie Lynch, he was not black. It's been said that this is where they got the word and action of lynching, from Willie Lynch. If you don't understand why slavery still affects the black community then I guess you should do some research. It's not victimhood, it's a reason why the community is the way it is still. Look up the black towns that were destroyed because they couldn't see black people do better. Just by your statement I can make a guess you are not black. Do so.e research, visit a black museum. The white slaves you were talking about were indentured slaves. After they paid their debt off they were free, not so for the black slaves.

Because he's middle eastern. Ardeth bay lore wise was born in israel to Arab Parents but later placed in an orphanage which is how the medjay train and sect new members. In the first movie he even tells Rick and Evelyn, "may Allah watch over you." Also keep in mind the medjay are a nomadic people comprised of several seperate tribes and during the events of the first movie, individuals with access to knowledge and resources like the curator of the cairo museum. so oded Fehr is actually the perfect actor to play the role of the Chief of the medjay people.

Meanwhile, there are people still upset about a black woman cast as a mythical mermaid and a black stormtrooper, I might add.
