Can't wait for the devs to add more UK and Argentine 80s assets so we can truly stage a re-enactment of the Falklands campaign in Sea Power. It promises to be a great sim once completed. I also then hope they open it up to mods and let people's creative genius get to work.

Does it have persistent campaign or just skimish missions? I want destroy world...

Thanks for the video. Very entertaining, and I enjoyed the cinematography. I ordered the game on November12th, the very first day it was released and I'm still learning. I watch everyone's different videos here on The Tube and pick up knowledge here and there. For laying buoys instead of holding down ctrl or alt, I hold down my right shift key and then left click. A crosshair appears and wherever you left click your mouse is where a buoy will be dropped. I learned this by guessing correctly that laying buoys is much the same way you create waypoints to navigate your ships.

Look, I get that facts and historic accuracy isn't a high priority for you but really, you could do so much worse. Next mission I expect to see the USS Enterprise (from Star Trek, not any of the US ships), the HMS Victory and that submarine the Beatles used, the yellow one in the mission. Okay? I've been enjoying these. Great work. Hope you stick at it.

Great first video and loving the less hectic pace as well as the storyline. I joined the RAN around the time the Falklands took place, scuttlebutt had it that we could be called in to help our allies. Of course that never happened but it did start my interest in the Falklands . I look forward to following along!

It would be something to see this game have a scale feature added, where a landing party, or a boat worth of marines go out and perform a mission on arrival.

7:04 just figured this out the other day, thought I’d share in case anyone isn’t aware. If you hold ctrl or alt while dropping sonobuoys it will place a search pattern down with the buoys automatically. You can place a whole heap that the craft will then search. Pattern depends on which button held down while clicking.

You may know this by now but backspace will remove the hud

I’m ex Royal Navy , do not make a simulation of a naval deployment of Royal Navy ships using shitty Yank ships ,. The Falklands involved mainly Leander class frigates and type 42 destroyers. Your simulation of events is disrespectful to all who served .
