Hello great video thank you for the help I just got my setup going. My power wheel has the built in charger plug that is 12v now. If I buy a 24v charger off Amazon with the same plug the car has will the 12v wires take the 24v charger and charge both batteries at the same time?

@TravisKepler Жыл бұрын
It doesn't really increase the speed since it is operating at nearly the same voltage but it makes it a lot more consistent even at low SOC since LFP batteries have a very flat discharge curve.

Thanks for this specific review! I know they aren't in the same price range but I am torn between the Bambu X1 and the Guider III. Which would you recommend? I do small/medium batch manufacturing of parts. The parts are fairly simple. The thing is, I can easily order from Flashforge direct (which I did for my Foto 8.9s machines) but have to go through some hoops to get a Bambulab because they don't ship direct to my country. I still use my old Creator Pros from 2014 (it was still called Creator X at that time) 10-16 hours per day 5 days a week for 9 years now and they just keep on running. Do you think the Bambulab can keep up with that much printing over time?
@TravisKepler Жыл бұрын
At this time, I would go with Bambu still. I'm considering selling my G2s and getting another X1-C. Right now, it's almost impossible for me to get Guider 3 spare parts other than a few things Aftersales has sent out under warranty. Flashprint slicer is very limited in comparison to many others, so it is difficult for me to really dial in some parts. The machine could really benefit from some firmware and software upgrades as well to bring it up to speed with many others in the industry now.

@MDG_Motorcycles unless you are printing BIG parts the last level from the flexplate is probably sufficient and then you can just dial in your z-offset.

It depends because Flashforge machines are often small business workhorses. I still run a couple of my first Flashforge Creator Pros from 2014 (it was still called Creator X at that time) 10-16 hours per day 5 days a week for 9 years now. Maintenance just once a year and they just keep running. Bambulab is still too new. Since then added a few more Flashforge machines FDM and resin over the years.

Pretty cool mod, but I wish you did a before-after with the car _loaded_ to see what real-world effect it would have. I don't think the wheel speed without load would differ between the two batteries, as long as the voltage is consistent.

Do you think it’s worth the price? I currently have a X1CC, what do you think compare these two?

The X1 is a way better value, in my opinion. The Guider 3 slicer and firmware are still limited and buggy in comparison to everything Bambu Lab has developed.

I need help converting a 48 scooter. 800watt motor. I can't seem to find any thing to help me understand what I need to do. I have searched all over KZbin and Google. I want to replace the 4 standard lead acid batteries (each 12v 12AH) with either LifePo4 or Lithium Ion batteries. I found the 48v Lithium ions on Amazon but I don't understand if I can use 48V with high AH like 20AH or does it have to be 12AH. It has a control box that says 48V 800watts and 28A I'm not sure what the 28A is, and I have seen some videos that say you need to do rewiring because you can't simply connect the negative and positive wires from the Battery control to a Lithium ion. I was also wondering if I can simply replace each one of the 4, 12V 12AH batteries with 12V 12AH LifePo4 batteries and simply use the same positive and negative connection terminals on each battery the same way it is currently set up with the factory Lead acid batteries, but then the charging comes into question and I don't know If I can cut my original charger of the scooter, and replace the end with a new one, like you did in this vid. Can you help me out please?
@TravisKepler2 жыл бұрын
If you use 12v lithiums similar to the ones I am that are pre-assembled you can connect directly to them. So you would need four 12v batteries connected in series(positive to negative on each battery) to produce 48v. The 20Ah only refers to the batteries capacity. That means it can output about 20A for one hour. I'm guessing the people that are saying you can't connect directly to them are referring to raw lifepo4 cells(not pre-assembled). Lithium batteries need to be controlled by a BMS(battery management system). This is essential a small computer that safeguards all of the batteries functions and monitors its performance and parameters. I hope this helps. -Travis

Nicely done ! I have the same mower but mine has a 60 inch deck. I have two small lights underneath on the front underneath where you have the light bar mounted. The tech at the lawn mower shop did a poor job. One of the lights keeps on going off. And it isn't near as bright as yours. I might as well be mowing with two candles mount on the front of the mower. I like your idea much better. I have to mow 6 acres and 5 of those is the size of two football fields at least it seems like it. This would come in very handy. Hopefully I can get this same setup on my mower. Thank you so much for sharing this. I just subbed. Have a good day! During the summer months temps can get up to 104 during the day that is why I like to mow at night or early evening .
