This isnt a very good grip for no spin throwing. I understand why you are getting lower power out of throwing no spin. The conventional grip that I was taught centers the blunt end in the palm of the hand in the same way this grip does. however the rest of the grip is closer to a grip one would use for a steak knife with the index finger being the one that straightens its path upon release. This grip allows me to really put a lot of power in my throws as my grip on it during the throw remains strong. during release, it is the momentum of the spike that releases it not much real movement to let go if it. my spikes have always been somewhat heavy so maybe your grip works better for lighter spikes

What doesn't feel right
@lyfestoriess8 күн бұрын
@ I use the speed bag at the gym I go too and it feels good but with the one I setup on my house it sounds a little off and I can’t keep hitting it without it going left or right the only thing I can think off is maybe one of the poles on the wall is slightly off angles
@PRIDEMARTIALARTS8 күн бұрын
Having a good level platform is important you could put a small leveler on top to check but sounds more like it could be the bag itself if you are hitting it center and it's not staying straight it could be a misshapen bladder also the swivel could cause this problem a good speed swivel is important to have
@PRIDEMARTIALARTS8 күн бұрын
I would check the level of the platform first make sure that's level then examine the bag and swivel
@lyfestoriess8 күн бұрын
@@PRIDEMARTIALARTS yeah I hit it dead in the center and I filed the bag with air to the max and it’ll be fine the first 2 hits most the time then it’ll go off to the side I’ll keep trying to fix it and find out what it is because the one at the gym works perfectly fine

Where do I find these kind of hand wraps where the thumb thing is already at start point the one I have I have to open the whole hand wrap first and then at the last the thumb hole grip thing is there which is really time taking so where do I find these kind of wraps where the thumb hole grip thing is at the start so I can just put it in my thumb and starting wrapping not like these one cuz the thumb thing is at last
@PRIDEMARTIALARTS2 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching one thing you can do is after use rool them up reverse so you start rolling the Velcro and end with the thumb loop
