They are close, but I think the X8 is more precise and has the more natural and fuller sound.

The X8 has a larger diaphragm than the X6, which may be the reason😉

初音ミク verのアップ、ありがとうございます。ボーカロ版にピッタリな感じでした。因み「NHKみんなのうた」で、この曲のイラスト・アニメを担当した堀口忠彦(とこいった)さんは、他に「忍者ネギ蔵」・「せんせいほんまにほんま」・「シャッキシャキの転校生」・「なぜ」・「自動車になったカメの歌」・「ゆかいなめざまし時計」・「へのへのもへじ」・「進め!しんじ君」・「転校生は宇宙人」・「動物園へ行こう」・「虫歯のこどもの誕生日」・「ひげなしゴゲジャバル」・「こだぬきポンポ」・「雪祭り」などにも同じくアニメを担当しておりました。残念ながら「動物園へ行こう」のみ映像は現存しておりません。その当時(1961~1979)の「みんなのうた」の映像や音声を探す「NHKみんなのうた」の「発掘プロジェクト」が、2021年12月31日をもって、終了するらしいです。その曲以外にも、たくさん発掘対象曲が、まだ後356曲もあります。もったいない…。素晴らしい企画だったのに…。何せ、「自動車になったカメの歌」・「ゆかいなめざまし時計」・「へのへのもへじ」・「進め!しんじ君」・「シャッキシャキの転校生」の5曲は、このプロジェクトによって映像と音声が見つかり、テレビでまた放映することができたものですから…。ある方が、教えて下さったのですが、今後は、公式サイトの番組のメッセージで、楽曲の情報提供の受付をしていくらしいです。

Because that's how you record videos (?) You can see the piano is indeed mic'd up in the reflection of the piano.

Which mic did you like best? And which pick up pattern on the Aston did you like best?

Hi. Thank you for your questions. I like to choose the ECM-100N for Room Mics, and the Aston Spirit(Cardioid) for Close Mics.

Surprisingly good the Aston in all pickup patterns- I liked the Fig 8 best in this setup. The Sony in Omni is very revealing of the room acoustics ( less than optimal).

Mary Ann pianoplayer ありがとうございます！僕の曲は音数が少ないものが多いので、ベーゼンドルファーのように響きが豊かで、なおかつ弱音を美しく出せるピアノが必須なんです。本当は古いベーゼンの方がさらに好みなんですけどね（笑）
