It's time to share information like this extensively right now to show what Kamala Harris means when she says "we're not going back!" Knowledge is power against rising Christo-fascism & this may be our last opportunity to save our nation.

Oh joy I'm missing a days pay so my union can waste my time with this rather than teach me about my trade like they are supposed to for this appreciation program. I'm already in the damn union. Why do I need to be sold on unions. Any established institution that feels it needs to justify its existence so strongly has likely outlived its usefulness.

First off if you’re in a union and watching this at work then you get paid to watch this. iIf you DON’T know the history and struggle of organized labor than you WON’T have any respect of it.

One of my great grandfathers on my dad's side was a regional head in the FOTLU and AFL after the rebranding. Beyond him, come 2030 when I'm done with school, I'm going to be the only other person in the family to join a union.

My father was born in December of 1899. By the time he was 6 years old, he had two jobs: he sold newspapers on a street corner and turned the gas-lights that illuminated the streets in town (Dayton, Ohio) on in the evening and off in the morning. At the age of six.

Instead of going shopping for holiday sales on Labor Day, every working class person-union or not- should take that day to learn about the history of the U.S. labor movement. Much blood was shed for workers to have things they now take for granted, like the 8 hour work day...workers were killed for this!!! The schools aren't going to teach these details because they know it might turn you into the labor radicals that those people were. Now I'm not saying you should learn this stuff so you'll become radical. I'm saying you should learn this stuff to have class consciousness and not take life for granted. In honor of workers that came before us, we should all take that day to learn about what they fought for so we could have that day off work. Also, JOIN A LABOR UNION!!!

I have never heard good things about unions. Grew up in the eighties and I understood unions as basically the mob legalized. We're here to protect you, but you have no individual voice. Then I've heard of cliques and favoritism, and harassment from union to the worlers. I would rather speak for myself and the thought of another flipping representative is annoying, honestly. Because they never seem to work for your needs, just their wants. I could be wrong. I've never attempted to enter a union, so i could be wrong. Then the word fees? No thanks.

The first rule is, you can't organize happy employees. If employees are working in a safe environment, paid fairly, are treated respectfully, and enjoy some degree of job security, why would you need a union. But if that's not your situation, then it makes sense. Unions suffer from an image/stigma problem but look at all the other groups of people using trade/professional organizations to achieve their goals. AMA, ABA, Farm Bureau, Manufacturing businesses, and hundreds more, working collectively to better their situation. But heaven forbid if exploited workers join together in order to achieve their common goals. Hundreds and maybe thousands of workers have died to provide you with rights you take for granted. Did you even watch all of this video?

My father was middle management at a large discount retailer, and never had anything nice to say about unions. He made a nice comfortable living and didn’t realize the impact that even the fear of workers unionizing had placed on every organization, which caused them to give a livable wage and benefits in order to stop uprisings within their ranks. He believed that unions were only in order to keep workers from having to actually do their jobs. My Dad and I clashed on this topic many times as I worked at union jobs in order to pay my own way through college (he refused to help pay for my tuition, as “nobody helped me!” he’d often say. He really thought that he had pulled himself up by his own bootstraps, so why should he help his “greedy lazy kids.” He was angry that I had to declare emancipation in order to even get student loans, as he wanted to be able to write me off on his taxes despite not helping me pay my tuition, rent, or even for food. I had been denied financial aid because they said my parents made too much money. And they assumed my parents would pay my fees if they were able to. Lol. Anyway, let’s bring unions back. Good strong unions. Not ones that only take dues and negotiate for lower salaries, like the last one I worked at did.

Believe in Yeshua, He is the only begotten Son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He took God's wrath upon Himself, that was the punishment for everyone in sin. He died and rose to give you new life in Him. Born again, a new creation. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. Romans 10:9 and John 3:16. Just believe, you must choose to believe and you will receive eternal life. If you still choose to not believe and you die you spend eternity in hell because you choose to not believe. Again, just choose to believe. Attend a church, read and obey all scripture. Be saved, free, forgiven, healed, delivered, baptized, whole and let Him show you how He is everything you need. He alone satisfies. Seek God and see your worth how loved you are and know who He is, read scripture. 💕 We are to live righteous and Holy because He said to and He paid for our way to live like Him. Ask anything in His name and the Father will do it amen. Hallelujah Praise the Lord God Almighty 🙏 Thank You Yeshua. We are to live righteous, that is doing the right thing always and living in obedience to scripture, every word of it. We are ambassadors of Christ. We represent God, when we are seen Yeshua should be seen, His ways not ours. We should be living for and showing God, living for His glory. We are to be an example of Yeshua, for the world to see Him and want to know Him and know Him more. 🙏 🔥 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, if My people humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways I will hear them from heaven and heal their land. 🙏 💖 People need to turn from their wicked ways, Yeshua paid for it. That's God stating it in that verse and there are more verses. People need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin (Isaiah 53), and to live how He said. He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. God has said to stop sinning. Scripture says how you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus Yeshua's name may you see and know the truth in its fullness. Yeshua is worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said.

Irony that I watch this and feel no sympathy for them because this is just showing a bunch of white people. If they were living dark and dirty then you can only imagine how they made black people live during this time. I mean even when this documentary was made black people couldnt get acknowledgement so it's only implied they barely were allowed to live during the time the documentary talks about. Even had a chance to go into it at 25:25 but you whitewashed it just saying random lynches happened for weird reasons, nothing to do with racist murdering scum who were dumb and broke and blamed it on black people just trying to live. Personally I dont feel for any broke white people of today because they had a massive head start and breaks repeatedly, economic, housing loans, family loans, education was free, to get their lives together for their kids to just ruin it trying to goto art school LOL. All that land yall have need to come up off that so people who deserve it can thrive. Surely darwinism will provide.
