Hi guys, Recently purchased the EAD10 and really like it. I think i assigned a tempo to a couple of scenes because it has it on the screen...........can I remove tempo from the scene ? Thanks ✌

My EAD10 doesn't see the silent drums file, any ideas how to resolve? The flash stick works as I can save to it, but for some reason, it just doesn't read the low volume file. Thanks.

DTX502 Touch app is discontinued. Be carefull buyers. Yamaha throw away the app for this module. I bought this module 2 years ago now a basic feature lost. be aware.

what if I didn't save the "normal" scene before importing the low volume ones? 😕 is there a way to re instal the old scenes?

How do these new scenes sound? Are they specifically only for mesh heads or can I use them on normal mylar acoustic as well?

If you put the triggers on the drums does it still work on the Zildjean l80s without the triggers on them ?

this needs routing control for the aux in, allowing it to send to phones only.

Hey I’m new at this Yamaha EAD10 I can’t figure out how to do scenes in a different scenes on my drum tracker I try press the menu button on the sign and I tried turning the scene up and it doesn’t work it takes me to the home and yell but the first time I did it I tried it work but I don’t know it was the right thing I did because I’m totally blind I became blind around 2/3 and 18 due to infection in the eye so I’m doing everything with ear and feel and it drives me crazy I don’t know how I did that before now I can’t do it can you help thanks

There is a way to have all scenes at the same time without replacing the original ones and without saving and loading them one by one. 1. Backup your original scenes with "Save --> All" 2. Load the low volume scenes with "Load --> All" 3. Save the low volume scenes with "Save --> All scenes" using a new filename 4. Load the original scenes with "Load --> All" 5. Load the low volume scenes with "Load --> All scenes" using the filename you gave Now you should have the original scenes at numbers 01 to 50 and the low volume scenes at the user scenes 01 to 42.

I have a problem. When i record with any scene, the kick is too loud. How should i set the module? It Sounds fine but the kick is over all. I have no triggers, only the original mic + module

Hello ! Can you tell me the function "Mic noise gates" on yamaha ead10 should be "on" or "off" ag? And the parameters below, how to set them properly to go to work?

Do I need a Yamaha thumb drive? It won't recognize mine. I get a "No Media" message. I'm using a regualr SanDisk drive. My file isn't on a folder on the drive.

I downloaded the low volume file onto a flash drive but the EAD is saying there's no file. I followed this video and backed up the original scenes etc so that's done, but it won't find the low volume ones.

Please i need urgent help, i tried commenting on the dtx402k video but its locked. Whenever i try to use the dtx402 app on my dtx402k, it aske me to update and i pess the following buttons that they ask. The thing is, i dont know if it is acutally updating or not. It just keeps flashing but nothing else. I waited for about 30mins and still nothing and i stopped it. Do i need to connect it to my PC or just the phone and does it need to be connected the whole time and am i doing something wrong? Please help!

The kick trigger on my ead10 does not work on mesh head even if updated. It works good with normal batter head so I have to find the solution for the mesh. Any suggestion?

I've had this for about 6 months. Positives, quick, easy way to record your playing, learn from mistakes, can turn your nice accustic kit, into a e kit, but the best part is the Rec n share app. I will probably use the voice feature, but besides that, I disabled the unit, mic my kit, and record. I can add a little extra reverb, and compression, but I want my kits to sound like my kits. I do use the module as a master volume control on occasion as well. If anything, it's a great practice tool

Could not make it work. Saved the scenes as instructed, but the EAD doesn't load the EAD10LVDrums when I connect it. Only the "ALL" file I've created in the first step.

A couple things, and I hope someone can help me out? The EAD won't pick up certain accents, or even record some drum setups very well.So I'm micing my drums as well using a Tascam Model 24. Through my headphones, I'm getting the sounds I want, but they won't be recorded through the rec n share. I'm using the stereo out from the 24, and going to stereo in on the EAD. I haven't updated the firmware, as it needed to be, but is there a way to combine real mics with the EAD? I hope that made sence?

With this firmware update is it possible to isolate and only send the trigger sounds through the mains and not the microphone? (And not affecting the microphone coming through headphones)

My DT50S trigger doesn't register anything while resting against the skin, I only register rim hits. It's this a common issue with that trigger? I assume it's a manufacturing defect
