What would cause the PRF clots to be very small? Dentist took two vials of blood and spinned each but VERY small amount of PRF resulted ? Would it be the angle and time or could it be that my blood would not produce it for some reason? Thank you.

Can PRF also be applied superficially and massaged in and not injected? Would that have any effect?
@prfeduАй бұрын
Yes PRF can be applied topically to the skin.
@AE-ps7tzАй бұрын
@@prfedu Would it then only have a superficial effect and improve acne, for example, or could it also go deeper through the surface if you used it like a mask. I can't find anything about the topical use of PRF, only about PRF for injections.

Could PRF cause clots in this area? I had PRP, it hurt so much and I felt pressure/swelling there for 3+ days, limited mobility even on the 7th day until the effects faded. Also how is this patient able to endure the pain for so long? Are they partially anesthetized?
@campfirewhittler3 күн бұрын
I usually tell my patients they will experience increased pain after PRP injections for 1-2 weeks because when the platelets activate and degranulate it causes a localized inflammatory effect which results of increased pressure and pain. This is what we want because that will stimulate the platelets heal the area. It should not cause clots and even if it did it would be okay because the body would absorb the clot like it was a hematoma.

Why is the solid PRF in the video at 0:06 so small? I'm used to having a long membrane which reaches through most of the plasma part.
