I’ve followed Neal through the CRB but had never really checked out his solo stuff until after he recently passed. His solo album fade away diamond time is currently in heavy rotation with me. It’s a masterpiece and the lyrics are very introspective. RIP Neal

Saw them last night in Manchester. Without doubt the best thing I've seen in ages. How this guy can remain so unappreciated I cannot fathom. His voice alone is truly remarkable, and the songs he writes have been the soundtrack to my since I first discovered him some years back. Nights like this make life worthwhile.
