Sorry, I've seen some mistakes. When google translates "fuck" it actually means "kiss". I've used french for the translation, and the word "baiser" has cheated google....

This is provencal language. Same family as occitan but slightly different. Not very different from catalan but quite far away (at least 1000km) from french. European geography facts !

Jean de La Tour Hi Jean, Do you have the lyrics though? I can read them in either of the languages (unless you're able to also translate to english). I can understand better when reading but hard to get the story when listening to the song :)

Have enjoyed 'Ochre' and 'Snow' a great deal and hope to see the ensemble live some time. The closest music I know to this is Robin Williamson's ECM stuff - similar strong otherwordly atmosphere - or should I say this world from a different viewpoint? Thanks for making it available! Rick

Andrew Cronshaw's most recent CD, 'The Unbroken Surface of Snow' (Cloud Valley CV2009, 2011 - see the Cloud Valley website), features all four members of SANS, and was the spur to it becoming a band. Sanna's only on one track, though; it's mostly instrumental, featuring Andrew, Tigran and Ian. We're planning on making an actual band CD in the next year or so, probably much of it live; so far in 2013 there are shows fixed in Australia, UK and Belgium.

Very interesting, the slokvakian instrument. Such a complex, yet natural sound evident in the "Opening Sequence" video. Thanks for posting this.

Hi laelamarie 1, and thank you - we're very happy with SANS and working hard on doing more. So far for 2013 there will be shows in Australia, the UK and Belgium. Yes, Tigran's playing a duduk. (He's Armenian, but as you say, let's hope the foolish and unpleasant duduk-origin-nationalism trolls don't jump on this! We're just trying to make music.)
