Just the factory it was made in, if it starts with J then it's in Japan.

Lovely jacket. I have a type 3 Levi’s denim jacket with the 'Big E' onnthe red tab. After consultation with Levi’s vintage staff at Cinch in London a few years back, we are able to date it as old as 57 years, or at least 53 years of age. The two contributing factors are these: the type 3 appeared in 1967, and the 'Big E' tab vanished in 1971, to be replaced by the lower case 'e'. It has worn beautifully well with a wonderful fade. A fabulous jacket

My question is, why are almost all Levis jackets made in Bangladesh, are Levis jackets made by Bangladesh?

To answer your question, long story short, Levi's used to make all of their products in the U.S. However, to keep the costs low, they went overseas to countries like Bangladesh to make their Denim Jackets/ other products.
