Yo a tes tenia un 2006 convertible y era un poco mas rapido era turbo,este es sport de 2.5,noto q arranca un poco mas lente q el 2006,pero la suspension el tamaño y la calidad estaejor el 2013,comprenlo sale muy bueno en carro,super suave la suspension,no le suena nada,lo compre usado hace 2 años,lo recomiendo ampliamente,gasta como lo mismo q el 2006

These things were in way better shapes 10 years ago than they are nowadays. Most are already trashed up by numerous owners, look carefully before picking one up. Had a 2010 model in this same color, 5.7 Hemi, same grey black leather interior and mine even had Quadra Trac II. Steering knuckle broke after hitting a not so huge pothole at low speed three days after purchasing, didn't bother fixing I just sent it straight to the scrapyard and watched it getting crushed.

I don’t know if anyone will ever see this on an ancient vid. I’m 20yrs VW, and imo the true Jetta sedan died in 2010, the Golf died in 2019, and VW went fully lame in MY 2024. That said, I currently own my grandmother’s 14’ Jetta S automatic, as a daily commute for work. I helped her buy it new in NJ in 08/2013, and now it resides in Texas. The Jetta went from an aspirational vehicle to a throwaway car in 2011. This throwaway Jetta, never saw a garage, only gas station car washes, and has survived amazingly well. Headlights are clear, every single thing works in it. There is so much that sucks about the car, especially in 2024, but it is rock-solid reliable. The oil cooler was replaced in 2019. That was its only repair, ever. Original brakes, headliner, HVAC, and the interior is like-new. It’s slow, no cruise control is insane, hard plastic everything, crappy gas mileage, but it just doesn’t break or die. I’d drive this old thing across the country without a single worry. The body is built well, lots of airbags, I don’t fear driving it on the highway with trucks everywhere. I hate it compared to an MK5 Jetta, but love it that it is stupid-reliable, simple, aged well, and it was free! I’ll keep it forever if I can. My grandmother, 90, gave up driving and gifted it to me. Keeps the miles off of my Alltrack! These Jettas are under-appreciated, as far as cheap cars go.

You’re buying a sporty hot hatch but would prefer the inferior car because of fuel economy that’s only 5-6mpg better? Golf R gets 19/27 and GTI gets 24/33. Why are you even bother getting either? Just get a regular Golf and get 30/42mpg

All I wanted to see was the headrest in the third row seat! And he didn't even open up the damn floor cover for them! Wasted my time covering everything BUT what I cared about. Also the tailgate lift was one of the other things I was interested in finding out about and that wasn't even addressed in this video either. 🙄😐

That's the exact car I have same everything. 5 years later still no issues just hit 50kmi. only thing I need to do is have the valves carbon cleaned pretty soon which is the only thing that's something that troubles me, most all newer cars that have direct injection have this same issue that shouldn't be. There are ways around it such as having both direct injection AND port injection, some cars do but unfortunately not this car.
