Girls got a natural talent for learning to play violin fast. Some days she spends 3-5 hours with the violin. Maybe thats why all of us, are lacking behind her. Just wait until she perfect her intonation. She will be good. very good. 😎🇩🇰

I've been trying to teach myself as an adult. I've always played by ear (Amazing Grace was actually the first I tried) with instruments, but I should try learning to read music. I played as a child but I got bored with it because I picked things up fast and we constantly played Mississippi hotdog. I just got one for Christmas but I've not been able to practice much because of my living situation and there's nowhere to go. This does give me inspiration though.

Holy Spirit is definitely with you in this endeavor.

I started playing violin about three years ago. I too, am self taught. My parents didn't have the money for lessons, so KZbin was my teacher. About two years ago I could finally play a song a the violin. From there on I finally started to get better. I taught myself everything i know about the violin today, and I still have lots to learn, but I wouldn't have done it without the Lord's help, so I use this talent that He has given me to glorify Him. May God bless and protect you. 🙏

Praise Adonai! What a beautiful gift He has given you. 💜 May your joy continue to ever rise in praise of Him. For some reason He is bringing our whole family into violin playing. It started with my Father inlaw being inspired by the Holy Spirit. Then he felt led to buy one for our 6 year old daughter. Now our 3 year old wanted to play. So I made her one to practice how to care for it and hold first. Now my husband and my violin for us to share and learn is arriving today. Cannot wait to be the family that plays praise together! God even used our purchase of a violin to help a family of believers in great need and has given me someone to pray for. God is so good! How did you start learning? Any advice?
