absolutely paradise! I can't help but wonder what happens with the plastic wine glasses and glass bottles from rum and plastic containers... often to be present in the views and videos of those to privilege to be able to visit these paradises... would imagine that most of these islands have their own "dump areas" it just occurs to me to wonder what happens with all of the debris from our "civilisation"... cheers from Toronto!

Hello there Saoirse! First, let me thank you for showcasing my beautiful home on your channel! I'm particularly impressed by the fact that you've not only shared your touristic experience, but also highlighted some of the issues that has adversely affected tourism in our country for many years. Much more can and should be done to protect and conserve our little slice of paradise. Far too long, foreigners have enjoyed too many 'freedoms' in our country and it has stunted the growth of our tourism and economy as a whole. I've lived on several continents and tourism in these larger territories is better marketed and well-priced. There's absolutely NOTHING free where tourism is concerned. Tourist come from countries with stronger currencies and much larger economies, and what they spend in SVG is considerably less than what I spend in their country as tourist, for the same or a lesser experience. I hope SVG remains on your bucket list and you encourage many others to visit!

Why not add a water maker when doing the refit? Seems like a real pain point could be taken care of with it. Plus you're not burning diesel.
Great video! Awesome catch. Turn off ur clicker brother.

Unfortunately we have to get on with jobs and our lives but Colben and Teagan are carrying on with their sailing adventures in the BVI. They are currently working on charter catamarans there. I might go and join them in the future but for now we unfortunately can’t afford to keep Saoirse 💔

So sad. I know that yacht for close to 20 years I think ( ex Gordon's Bay ). It feels so unreal . . . it was like yesterday when you set sail from Saldanha Bay Yacht Club. We were all caught up in your dreams and voyage. And now to to say goodbye to the boss, your dad, your husband. So sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences. Rest in peace Robin.

Dear Saoirse Family, I am sad about the end of your journey and especially sorry about your loss! Your dedication regarding transferring a formerly capsized and standard catamaran to such a beautiful home is fantastic, you put so much love and work into it! Since me and my partner (both close to 60 years of age) are planning on living on a catamaran, we began to survey upon potential boats. I always thought that your boat would be one of the best and absolutely perfect for our purposes. So I was quite surprised to find it online being offered for sale. Sadly it is a bit to early for us and so I hope you find someone for your boat who will really appreciate how you changed and outfitted Saoirse. I wish you all the best for your future! Kind greetings from Germany, Michael

We are so sorry that our SOUTH AFRICAN accent is hard to understand. Unfortunately we aren’t imitating anything, that is just how we speak.
