I also race in 3rd person view and is it just me.. but I really struggle with the bike camera and constant movement and sway both left and right and zooming in and out of the bike ?

Haven’t played IOM TT in awhile but I remember there being alot of camera movement in third person, I always try to focus ahead but it could be jarring. Try sitting upside down for abit then when you sit the right way up the camera won’t feel so bad. 👍

Nice run but I've got to ask.....What Assists did you have running and have you tried riding with the First Person Helmet Cam as it gives a lot more of a realistic feeling and more intense thus making it harder, where-as using the Far Out 3rd Person Cam, which you rode this in, enables you to see more of the track and navigate the corners a bit easier !?!? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take anything away from your run at-all, it was a perfect (no-crash) run and a great time, to get into the 15min club's not easy by any means.....I'm merely asking and suggesting, there's no malice here ok mate !! I've recently got TT2 (about 3 weeks ago) and loving it even more than I do the first one, which I have as well, they done a great job with their 2nd version of the game and improved on every aspect, I'm also glad to see it's still hard as hell no matter how we choose to ride !! !! Keep On Riding !!

I don’t remember how I had the game setup it was quite awhile ago but onboard camera is harder than 3rd person for sure. I don’t mind onboard it takes getting use to but always ended up using third person. But 100% if you’re going for as realistic as possible onboard is a different game 10ft on your nose FOV vs 100ft FOV

The whole “upgrades” thing sucks in my opinion. I want competitive times on the leaderboards on the TT course because it’s the TT game but I can’t break the top 50 because I don’t want to play the career mode I just want to ride the mountain course. They should at least add in a stocker class for the UN-modded bikes! Great ride btw my friend way to go 👍

I think the Norton and the Suter are already set up for racing matey, but if you want to be really competitive, do the career, you’ll actually quite enjoy it!

I agree, in fact it’s the reason I put the game down. Upgrades killed it for me, don’t mind a few little upgrades but they was too much.

Hi, One small correction here. The Norton is already fully race prepared - upgraded. If you wanted a no upgrade bike you should have chosen on of the others and left all at stock. Great lap bww. Smooth :)

Thanks! My bad I thought it was fully stock I only played the game for a few weeks as when I did try upgraded bikes it lost the fun of it abit also I have a bad habit of putting down the IOM TT game too soon.

6th gear is such a long climb compared to 4th and 5th. It’s like the bike is testing your resolve to keep the throttle wide open in 6th. I’ve been recently learning how to play without assists, and the Norton feels unplayable for me because it always feels like it’s always trying to throw me off and feels unpredictable compared to something like the ZX-10R or the BMWs. After I unlock parts in career mode and get better at the game, I’m going to work on completing the mountain course with the Norton.

Barney le dilly Thanks, when you pick the bike atleast for the Norton I noticed if you go to where it says customise bike/parts on suspension & gearing you can press on them even if level 1 & change them abit. Couldn't seem to do it with the other bikes think you need upgrades on them. My friend said people are doing 215mph so that must be upgrades if you do the career first is probably a better idea, I get bored playing career modes though so haven't tried.

What braking method do you play on combine or split? And when turning into corners do you use the rear or front brakes?

ByTaM I use split brakes, front on left trigger with rear on square. When I come into a corner I go down a gear then get on the brakes first with the front then tap the rear a couple times at the same time I pull more pressure on the front as the bike slows down getting off the rear. On fast flowing corner I try to just use the engine braking knocking a gear down on two while on the front brake. The engine braking is very powerful on this game.

You ride well man! any tips you could offer? I am new to all this however, I am practicing my racing lines and memorizing the tracks I play with no HUD for immersion sake and I'm also in simulation mode. One issue I am having is learning how to properly use my brakes and gears to turn into corners I tend to brake a little too late, often times I slam on the breaks causing my front end to flip over, do you use both the rear and front breaks or just one particular break?

ByTaM I use front an rear brake mostly front but use the engine brake coming into a corner it really helps to slow the bike.

wallydj Thanks! haha Didn't realise I went quiet, that bike just pings off so easily when you try to push it into corners like it has really bad suspension so I was concentrating more at the mountain trying to remember all the bumps I've hit.😂 There's a couple of ridiculously fast people on the game I think this lap was second but the guy in first had a 14! Looked on the old game an the same people have fast times on that too. But I'm happy with 15s Me & Captain realised these bikes are all level 1 parts & going slower than the bikes in the old game. It will be crazy to see the times if upgrades count

One Racer 🤣 I don’t blame you, I was really impressed with how fast you were for the 1st half of the lap, just casually chatting away. I’d be bricking it 🤣. 14!!! Wow!! Why do all these games have to be so much faster than reality 🤷🏻‍♂️. Isn’t the real life record like 16:40? Oh my word, maybe that no1 guy had upgrades. If not 13’s could be possible 🤯
