Oh my dear god indeed! 😉 Justice is part two of a two-part series, the first one is OOTD, which sounds very differently. Just like ymenehcra for OOTD, an account named 9mynameis1 has been posting messages before the comeback. She posted that her seven friends became obsessed with the crown and have not been responding anymore, which corresponds with the secret diary Siyeon (our powerhouse main vocal, also known as Wolfie) is reading. The text there reads "How are you? I'm worried because you aren't replying." So what we are seeing here is the seven friends (Dreamcatcher) getting rid of their obsession with the crown (materialism, narcicism) by literally destroying it, which makes their friend rejoin them (there is an eighth person joining them near the end). There is also a lot of imagery about death and legendary figures like Valkyries or greek goddesses and legends. Reddit user PaintMeYaBasic has managed to identify these paintings in the MV: Hero by Edward Burne-Jones (from the tale of Hero and Leander), Valkyrie and a Dying Hero by Hans Makart, Hero and Leander by Salvator Rosa and finally "Justice" by Kenyon Cox in the center back. In the tale of Hero and Leander from Greek mythology, Hero is actually a priestess of Aphrodite (Venus in the Roman myths), so that is not the same as the hero who is taken from the battlefield by a Valkyrie in the other painting. But OOTD has the line "I'm Venus, Nephthys, call me a Goddess". It is likely there is a connection. While OOTD was about falling for the temptations of modern life and a satire on narcicism (especially influencers and fast fashion), I believe Justice is telling us to fight those temptations for a better world. It is a call to become a warrior for good in the world and fight the materialism that seems to be the most important thing for many people in the developed countries. You can see JiU break the bonds that hold her down, and we should do the same. There are also many references to their older MVs in this. The paintings also have a deeper meaning in Chase me, there is a sword in Deja Vu and Scream, the bite into the apple is a callback to BEcause and the tree to the Dystopia trilogy - and so on. There are many more. The 8th figure in the end could also be JiU from Deja Vu, finally breaking the cycle of violence and providing justice. Musically, I love the song. The guitars in the chorus are pure heaven (just like Dongie with her wings). It has the right amount of heaviness for me, and it is an anthem and a call to action. Justice is a brilliant, epic release, showing everyone that a group can still produce fantastic music and MVs after seven and a half years!

My sympathies, you got hit by a hurricane. This song is a hurricane by itself so it was a foreshadow by the Gods. 🤘🐺🤘 I recommend DanceEAR performance of Justice. It's pure raw vocals and absolute awesomeness. This album Virtuous is theirs and Ollunder's masterpiece. The intro 7' Dreamcatcher is pure prog rock bliss, Stomp is an arena rock fight song. 2 Rings is like a biker rock song and Fireflies is an absolutely beautiful ballad. DREAMCATCHER IS THE DREAM.

These girls are so young and talented. Chiquita and Pharita are both from Thailand. Ruka and Asa are from Japan. Rami, Ahyeon, and Rora are all from South Korea. They range from 15-22 yrs old. Just can’t wait to see what the future holds!

People are going to ask you to react to everything under the sun for this group. Personally, I think the best things to check out are the videos that include all 7 members. These are: Dream and Like That. Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle lack the full group, as one of them was on medical hiatus for a bit, so they feel a bit incomplete versus these other songs, IMO. And yes, they are diverse as hell... intentionally. YG has said that the members are so insanely talented that they want to highlight their full range and that this may take a while.

You are spot on with 80s synth-pop. In the beginning, the sign on the door read 401= April 1st, which is their official 7 member debut, and Babymonster Members Only. In the 80s there was a very popular lightweight jacket made by a company called Members Only. I'm probably showing my age by even know this. I never had one because, well, frankly, I wasn't cool. But I think some of my friends did.

Hi there. What's going on is this. They told us 3 times in the chorus, "baby, it was just a dream". Actually it is Pharita's Forever endless dream loop. I'll explain. Pharita is the only one that experienced supernatural things. She was soring through the clouds in a flying car with Big Ben and fireworks exploding all around her (Peter Pan reference). Right after the first chorus and before the rap there was a single shoe on the floor and a clock striking midnight (Cinderella reference). Last she was waking up from her Forever sleep surrounded by the other members (Snow White reference). Remember the sick beat at the beginning? That disappeared after the rap verses but returned again at the end which indicates the beginning of the song. The doorbell rings and they hurry off to see who it is. Next we see the pair of silver slippers and invitation in the box on the foot of the bed, untouched. This indicates this never happened in reality. I imaging when they got to the door and peeked through the peephole, Ruka is probably there whispering "BabyMonster". Pretty good video hunh?

Wow glad you were able to get to it so soon! You must’ve been really hype to go through the extra trouble of going in and out 😂 but can I blame you?! The TT is so good! The only thing I wish is the chorus instead of having the “choppy” effect on the belting parts was left clean but it’s a minor nit pick. Didn’t expect you to check out the showcases as well but man they were killer. I’m glad you pointed out how they good they all were at covering for Siyeon (and ofc we hope a great recovery for her 🐺 ). Gotta mention the fits for 2rings… Handong… wow. 🤩 Hope everything gets resolved soon as to not only let you dive into the album, but get back to daily life!
