Customer service on Tuff Spas NOW appears to be nonexistent. This is the second day that I've tried to call either the Phoenix or Tucson company which handles Tuff Spas ..... and I cannot get someone to stay with me on the phone for more than 15 seconds..... I get "we're on the phone right now...call back" and pushing one button ( "3" for customer service ) evidently takes one to an east coast operation ( with "please call us during east coast business hours" sort of recorded message ). All I want to know is whether I can purchase a new cover gasket, or what they can recommend for an adhesive to re-bond the existing cover gaskets. Is that too much to ask ??

Hi - We're in TX and I'm wondering how do I get the water temp down? Plus, sometimes I can't see the screen because it's very dim. Help...... please.

Would be great if my Tuff Spa had this layout when I pulled the panel, unfortunately it did not. The valve directly over top the pump was off to the left where I didn't notice it and the clip holding the valve had been installed incorrectly at the factory allowing the valve to close. I tried to release an air lock by loosening the fitting and of course that did not work because the valve was closed, by the time I noticed it was the valve that was the issue I couldn't get the fitting to tighten back down and stop leaking. Ended up having to drain the tub and then put sealant around the fitting. Now I have another air lock and because I sealed the fitting I can't crack it open to bleed it off. Off course Tuff Spa and Agean likely won't do anything about any of this because the tub is 2 years old. Frustrating. I don't know if we'd still recommend Agean or not but I most definitely would not recommend a Tuff Spa at this point.

What Chris i think is worried about is that the wild animals might work there way inside of the hot tub or in the tub itself so that is one reason why he is encouraging you to use the hot tub covering i believe it is that he is talking about in this video. In rare cases nobody would want to get a pig or a wild boar or any other types of wild animals inside of inside of the tub of there hot tub and then have to wait off before using it so that is probably why.

I really like that hot tub a lot but one thing that i wish is if there was some way to make the motor sound more quiet similar to silent like indoor Hotel hot tub that are in ground for example. With ones that are loud you also cannot hear the music display at a low volume if you wanted to and also some people as your soaking inside a hot tub at night or evening etc etc would like to just hear the bubbles and the soothing fizzing sounds when the jets are on only and not a loud motor and humming sounds. Are there any hot tubs like this that can do that? This hot tub looks very nice and fancy and i really like everything else about it though.

I think that i know why, In the Winter season rats and mice like to try to look for open spaces or holes to get inside of things to make there nests and its for an extra enclosure to protect so the rats and mice can't get inside the units inside of the hot tub or hurt any of the electrical either! The 2nd thing is to help insulate it i believe from to cold and freezing up however most people keep there hot tubs very hot i believe up to anywhere from 100 degrees F to 104 degrees F max in the Winter time and therefore not only does it help keep the water heated well but also i believe some of the heat stores inside the rest of the hot tub as well so it helps hold heat inside in the cold freezing Winter times. It also helps for balancing the hot tub i think and helps protect from wear and tear over time and therefore you get a nice longer lasting hot tub to enjoy.

Is it possible to wrap the outside of your hot tub so it’s kept insulated in the winter? The way my hot tub was installed, it’s really hard to get into the back of it and remove the panels so would prefer to wrap the hot tub instead but not sure if that will work?

Very informative video, I am in Eastern part of Canada. I have winterized Catalina spa and opened again in December, I have found that there is ice somewhere in tubing or in water pump. water does not flow between pumps. Any advice ?

I was a Big Fat Jerk last time & I Apologize for that(I'm an old man & I could die any day now) I do like this AW 451 hot tub! I'm just really concerned about this new to me style of insulation as I live in a very cold mountain climate + a dealer of a different brand insisted that the AW shell is sub structure supported & not fully"self"supported, also this dealer impressed upon the fact about Balboa not used here either & how important a circulation pump is(if I use the tub 2× a day is a Circ pump necessary at that point) I really like the 451 hot tub, I truly I do. I have a strong supportive well known local dealer that sells Caldera, American Whirlpool, Nordic, Hot Springs.

6hp motors my ass .. you can’t run one motor at 6 hp on 50 amps let alone 3 😂😂. You would have to have a 3 phrase line ran to just run a tub... quit lying to sell you tubs and just tell the truth that they are 2hp not 6 at break horse power .. there is a huge difference between true horse power and break horse power .. 40 years hocking up all brands of hot tubs and never seen one with over a true 2 1/2 HP And if they had more than one pump it was usually just 2Hp at best .. most homes cant even get 50 amps extra out of their panel so no way you could run this tub on a any normal home wiring if it was 3 six HP pumps ...

same exaact pumps as the jolie.....the jolie rocks for power.....the prestige is a great spa but too big for my area..the jolie is a smaller footprint and not all large people will like it but the monarch and prestige are both next size up...all same pumps

this tub rocks...same pumps as the prestige but less water....bigger people wont like it...its great for asians and smaller people
