Just bought this in the 7000 size and it is the best reel I've ever owned! So smooth, really fast retrieve, and the distance I am now getting is pretty decent! I've only been sea fishing properly for the last 8 years and only in the Summer, but I'm getting more into it so decided to move up from the cheapo reels and my word, the difference is insane! Definitely recommend the Tidal XT, well worth the money!

Nice smoothie for the time of year. great to see you back at Dover. That new bit of CT that they put in so we could still fish is supported on steel piles about a foot apart so if you had got into a reasonable size conger it could have got interesting.

The fish you caught at 13.48 is a Tompot Blenny, and a big one too! I catch them in the harbour on LRF gear, but not quite as big as that mini beast! Lovely Ballan Wrasse too, it's best time of the year to find the bigger ones. It's worth trying a size 8 hook on your down the wall set-up, as you could find a Sea Scorpian or maybe even a Topknot.

@@priestandbakerfishinguk5871This is nothing compared to what it used to be here in Norway back few years, you would get 100 mackerel within 2-3 hours of fishing with lures and literally throw everywhere and pull out decent cod/pollock. This is not the case now a days, we definently already felt the «for granted» some places there is still alot of action but it used to be like this everywhere until recently the fish is not to be found as easy as it used to be.

We did lofoten in Feb , see the videos on our channel, if that wasn't winter I don't know what is , half the places we wanted to fish we couldn't because of the 2 foot if snow , better all round for us this time , us oldies can't do it like we used to, thanks for watching

It's called Beach street carpark, there are two of them. The one you want is closest to the Pier!! I checked because I'm going too. To fish 2 rods and park all day is nearly £30!! @@carlhobbs9436

Nice to see you again. Some nice mixed fish in this one. Fished Admiralty CT on Monday not a single bite. Youll be pleased to know that the Doggy activity has died right away. The Wind has been like this for a few weeks weeks now on this side of Kent N/NNE very light in the morning then by about 2/3 PM it is 20/30mph SW.
