You are a natural born sewing teacher, but I still can't believe you are teaching us sewing on KZbin. I have been making many samples for exhibitions, magazines and my classes, but the fun of sewing is making something for my family. My grandson and granddaughter who are second grade of elementary school enjoyed making coasters for their family last weekend. It was fun for me to teach them.

Is it possible to fold over the waistband of I make it long enough?😄also does this work the same with low rise leggings?😄I was also wondering if I could make the waistband with any fabric or only some?😄😄sorry for all the questions, I’m new to sewing😅😅this video was extremely helpful!😸😸😸😸

You definitely can fold it over if you make it long enough. That would work out great. And yes, low rise would work too. Just measure how tall you want your rise to be. You can put them on and measure where you want them to be. You want to choose fabric that has good stretch and recovery. The recovery in your fabric is very important so that it doesn’t loose its shape as you’re wearing them through your the day. I love ponte. It makes the best waistband. I’m hoping my answers make sense. If not, let me know and I’ll try to make better sense of it happy sewing.
