I don’t know how people play (literally) but I know you statistically can’t beat a 2000 and lose to a 900. but I did. I’m not interested in explaining how because I can’t. I can only continue to play and hope someone will finally help me because until now EVERYONE thought I was cheating and I never did. it upsets me a lot but only because I don’t deserve to be punished and I earned a spot with the best players and I continue to be refused that basic respect

Fun fact- if any modern browser-based engine you play on purpose or because of restrictions your opponent will often prolong mate as long as there is a sustained unstoppable mate threat. Tell chesscom to hire me!

That’s a great possible fact, but I don’t understand why that move Qh7 wasn’t played. It was a forced mate in 1. There was nothing you could do to stop it.

To put it in human terms it was trolling me. In coding, it’s 50% that it’s coded to troll especially at 70-80% strength like I’m getting on all new accounts- or new with the same IP. 50% it plays random moves that don’t lose (mainly or exclusively tabelebase)

So, according to chesscom that was your average 1100 player taking a few seconds from their infinite time to troll as most 1100 players don’t require time to do. aI is too good

I think all constructive criticism is welcome and I’ll try to be more proactive with king moves as opposed to reactive. In my defense I have to play to some degree knowing what my opponents moves will be - a torch ai top 3 move - and I’m still trying to combat it with unorthodox tactics like I used to beat Stockfish level 6 (very aggressive uncompromising and very human)

Lichess does nothing about cheating at all below 2200. I played mahadir_hamdi who has played over 2800 games and wins them all. Yes either draws against other cheaters or wins them all. Every move takes the same amount of time. 2800 games and still not banned. Played 95% against me. LICHESS DOES NOTHING.

How do you know you're restricted or as you say being redirected to a special server populated with other suspicious accounts and or bots? It's tough to give it credence when your evidence is hearsay from people you play OTB who are not LiChess insiders. I'm not saying that "shadow banning" isn't a possible thing they do. But it's very hard to prove short of internal documentation speaking of the practice or some way to log the traffic from an account that is and another that isn't to show it's being redirected when accessing the site from the same IP.

What a crazy situation! My opponent talking would for sure throw me off. That seems unacceptable to do during the game, even if you aren't talking about the game. Are you going to any of the tournaments in September?

I don’t feel like I can because of this incident. Regardless of how it happened (I blame the td but I might be missing something?) I had two people publicly shouting at me insinuating that I had repeatedly made reckless allegations. I don’t know how they got that impression but at the very least I think it would be respectful to let my opponent have a chance to play without being nervous I’ll be there

overcommitment by taking the pawn instead of the bishop results in sharp complicated lines whereas if you don't know them, you can't prove your advantage and actually end up losing, and deep lines isn't ideal at your level brother

it's a good point, and taking the bishop was a better move, my opponent was rated just under 1000 uscf and I thought at minimum I would get three pawns for the knight and positional compensation. I lost a game making a similar bet just after this

I have noticed that when iam on a good win streak I get paired againest much better players of the same elo (almost like it tries to keep you in steady rating). also a lot these accounts are 1 year old and stay on the same elo for all that year with 0 friends and 0 clubs.

Yes, it is impossible to sit and gain hundreds of rating points right now, it might be because the more you win the more they suspect you are cheating. Or, they want to you constantly grind because their streamers can do it (with easy matchups, all diamond accounts). There will be people on social media who say somebody playing thousands of games in a month is "bullet addiction." The simplest explanation is usually correct. They're bots

They were banned after being on the site for 6 weeks, so you can look at the game if you'd like. They were absolutely cheating, this game isn't proof but if you look at the account this person didn't know how to play chess and got to 1800 before the ban - www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/104459386503?tab=analysis&move=0

This is a common theme in many positions, I think stockfish deeming it brilliant is a stretch but its a very counterintuitive idea if you've never seen it

it should give one brilliancy for the first move as long as i play the best continuation - i'm not saying this specific move, the algorithm should do that instead of isolating moves. Had my opponent tried to flag me on the a file i would have had 8 brilliant moves

TY, i don't suggest others try, either. I have 2 years practice and I would say I lose 80% of chess games (but probably 50% geoguessr games) shaving my head at the same time had no effect and I was unable to write a full song if scientists are interested
