I have 2023 maya downloaded. Am having issues with the multicut tool. Every time I try to put down edge loop i can press control and the edge loop appears and i can lay that down. But then when I want to place more edge loops it's not responding. I can go to edge, press control and no second edge loop appears. How do I fix this so I can lay in edge loops where I want them?

I've already did reinstallation. When u look at outliner, there is no plus sign so the whole model appears to be selected.

So, an issue I'm having is when building a 3d model the program wants to select the whole model. So in the outline it's only one whole model without several parts I can just click on and that part of model highlights

my issue is that the plane it self wont rotate around. I can onlt zoom in and out with mouse. I can press move tool and move model side to side, back and fourth. But the plane stays still and wont rotate the model so I see all over model.

Why are there so many dislikes on here? Is it the amount of pauses you said, or is it the tutorial didn't help people much? I've used Adobe cs5 since 2012, and its still relevent to me today. I will say I probably will need to move over to a new 2D animation software since adobe cs5 is not supported on windows 11, and I don't want to rent adobe animation just to do a few animations as a hobby. Was thinking about buying a perpetual licence 2D animation from another company and go from there.

Symbols are "buckets" for collections of objects. That analogy helps me understand them. Double clicking "drills" into the symbol to get to the contents, away from the timeline.
