It just goes to show Carrie Underwoods quality and ability where Carrie, the winner of a TV talent show, does the best version of the Star Spangled Banner I have heard and just blows many far more established artists, both male and female, out of the water

Gosh, I just listened to Carrie Underwood and she HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK. I so much agree with larkyn shay below about how other people putting a spin on the national anthem; Carrie sings it like it is supposed to be sung. THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE. Thinking about the way she sang, but chills up my spine!

You've never done it, clearly - and I have, at a pro basketball game. The most seasoned of singers are nervous...even the great Whiteney H sang over a pre recording - singers aren't singing, they go to their wheelhouse so they don't mess it up...as it is a VERY challenging song to sing...but judge away I'm sure you're better than all of them.
