I know you won't but anyone else watching please wear work gloves when handling rusted metal and have a recent tetanus shot! You have a bit of repair work to do on that born. It is likely a two person job. Maybe replace the support struts before dragging stuff off the roof? It looks well kept so I guess just old age and weather

OHSU and the WHO found no difference in tetanus or Diphtheria rates between people who received boosters and those who didn’t as long as they were vaccinated as children. Several studies have tied arthritis and other autoimmune disorders to tetanus boosters. So Id say no to the boosters and hell yes to the gloves.

Not good. I'm the wildlife ate the you sprouting trees. I've had much better starting them on planters but then when I transplant them they either die or are eaten. I don't baby them. My next approach is to just broadcast acorns all over to see if a few make it.

I know this is an old video, but Idk if you know or not, but martin's makes permethrine that is NON flammable. Thats what we mix up for our dogs & ourselves.

I would use that in raised beds with weed barrier, in a SHTF, nobody is buying compost soil. I will be doing this experiment in the future.

@@MosaicHomestead I’ve used it as is and plucked out the weeds that pop out. Most are annuals so once you get them out you’re done. Weed cloth or cardboard would also work just fine.
