A terribly boring movie. Theres plot lines left to go nowhere - At the very least, there's going to be more than just creatures to deal with, fires, hunger, crumbling buildings, people turning on each other, fighting, injury ect these things were barely touched on at all. Being a prequel, the part where there were helicopters and broadcasts made no sense because- how many days have passed? A few days? A week? A few weeks?? What are the creatures eating and why? Apparently these creatures numbers are massive...there should barely be ANY survivors right? Oh, the creatures are busy climbing buildings and staying there apparently until they hear something? There's giant creatures too!? Sweet! Oh, one brief scene and thats it..never mind. All the people all of a sudden ALL know to be quiet? And hundreds of people walking down the MIDDLE OF THE STREET....with no shuffling, stumbling from injured people, coughing, moaning, crying ect...In the first two, the people knew to be quiet, but also knew that sometimes being loud was unavoidable and/or accidental, so they tried to distract the creatures a bit more than breaking a window, or setting off car alarms. The character motivations were simply unrealistic and/or pointless, and just made it a completely go nowhere movie. The cat was there to be idk...some sort of ridiculous plot device..i guess. If they wanted to pull on heartstrings, the cat would've ran away, she would've been sad, then he or she would end up at the end seeing the cat, and saving it or it run to them and hit everyone in the "feels". As it was, it was just an annoying thing that was pretty much pointless other than...she has a cat, and its always there...except this one part where it finds a dude, then the dude tries to rescue it...then its just there for the rest of the movie. The stakes for the characters were really, really low. There's a lot of scenes where it obvious they tried to be "clever" in fake tension but it doesnt work, one example is in the scene where shes in the subway entrance and all of a sudden when the creature is near, the opening of the subway starts with a little bit smoke/dust/fog(?), but then is all of a sudden COMPLETELY FILLED and you cant see a single thing but no real reason why. Ridiculous. And the one thing that bothered me the most- you see destruction of buildings, cars, the subway, stores, you SEE the creatures kill people, you KNOW from the previous movies that the creatures aren't gentle (lol), there are blood smears on walls and whatnot, but where are the bodies or pieces of bodies, rotting bodies dying people?!?!? There should be hundreds/thousands of bodies all over the city, not just a few here and there. Ugh. The ENTIRE WORLD (apparently) is being invaded by crazy murderous creatures, and the focus is on two people (with barely any character development), instead of the ENTIRE WORLD trying to survive, or at the very least take from zombie movies 'ala' a group of survivors and how they make it through the ordeal, and do something fresh with it. As it is, it doesnt work as a prequel, and we already had two movies about a small group of survivors, why yet another? I liked the previous two, but this one, it definitely wasnt "fun", it was just a bore. 4/10 Just because ive seen worse, but it didnt even hold up well to the other two at all. Actually, y'know what this movie reminded me of? Lol Skyline. Rant over lol.

Also if ur going to use that as a vid title at least make sure the movie ACTALLY failed. Otherwise it js makes it look like you live under a rock or havent watched the movie.

It’s not necessarily a prequel to the other two movies it’s more of just its own thing because it has different characters and is set in a different place, even though it takes place at the start of the invasion. It does not fail one bit in my opinion, shit I liked it a lot more than the other 2 movies because they felt like a copy of each other. This one felt kinda new and fresh

While back in the 3rd Movie all of the furious 5 even Shifu don't recognize Kai (in which the Camelion is also older than Shifu, considering the reason why Shifu don't recognize Kai because he already dead)

half of the characters are terribly cast as well. Azula is the worst…she looks NOTHING like the cold, fierce, and cunning warrior her animated counterpart is. she has far too gentle a face. Zuko’s actor tries his best but again, he looks too soft. Mai is just..oof. they nailed Sokka though, and Iroh is pretty good

I totally agree with you. I did not watch the live action version because I knew Brian and Dante left during the production. The first scene they animated for the original was Aang haggling "for the price of... ONE COPPERPIECE" with the pirate. As I rewatch ATLA every year, I've grown fonder of all the characters including Aang whom I never cared too much about when I watched it as a kid. And while I like Katara the least of the Bumeraang squad, I still love her, as I can ephazise with her a lot, as the youngest sibling. My older sisters had to keep me in check, not let me grow up to be an overconfident jerk, tech me responsibility and that's not a well liked role but absolutely necessary. And how could they butcher Bumi... my boy... the only living human friend Aang still has from before. Let's hope my comment convinces the youtube algorithm because your video is very good. I'll check out the rest now.

Azulas fire is the wrong color wtf

The interesting thing is that the dragon warrior was suppose to be a person who appears every 1000 years, and master oogway did sense the dragon warrior presence, hence why he wanted to have this dragon warrior ceremony. This dragon warrior was destined to bring big change to the kung fu world, but also defeat a future threat Kai( hence oogway was ok with losing to Kai) In kung fu panda 4, Po has to choose a dragon warrior, just because master Shifu wants it.

The whole movie has a lot of flaws and story-wise is not so great, I watched it but I was more annoyed than relaxed while I watched. On the other side, I adore cartoon. Move was just made for action aspect of franchise. EDIT; Soka is great character in cartoon and if the world didn't evolve into a censoring shit ass place movie Sokka would be great too. Old cartoons and movies rule with jokes.
