Seminole Nation can be thankful that they had an AD like David Colburn who had the patience to stick with Mike Norvell and give him the time to put his stamp on the program. Mike will continue to move the program in the right direction. I see him as the new Bobby Bowden.

For another random context...Im playing ncaa 09 on 360 and got a dynasty with FSU i can be undefeated #1 from the start of the season n face several top 5 teams but as soon as the Big 10, sec, big 12 or pac 12 do the same thing i drop from #1 almost every time. Loolz itss always been like this. Loolz

I would love to see FSU go scorched earth next season, like 2013-level domination. As far as the draftees, I think most of them have the discipline after being with Norvell in order to succeed. It's difficult to make it in the NFL and you need mind, body, and some luck to make it.

11:19 I think once Alabama struggles this year, the SEC will be much more receptive towards FSU joining the conference. The SEC has added Texas over Texas A & M's objections. Proximity and less travel would also be ideal.

These things aren't going to be that difficult. The culture at FSU is established. They're locked in. And the character that they recruit on that squad is rock solid. Leaders will emerge from putting the work in and how they go about it. They will naturally rally behind each other including around the leader. You guys will see... It aligns with the them trending upward since Norvell has been there.

Spot on Nile, and every fan needs to hear this interview/the things you said so well. Mike has made it look easy to us on the outside, but these things are not going to be easy at all. These things will continue to become more difficult as the game rolls on. Mike was the perfect hire, or close enough to perfect, for reasons we didn't even understand at the time. He is so good at all of this, but it can't be easy. The 2022, and 23 teams had great leaders that helped keep it all together. Those guys are fine, now. New leaders will have to emerge, and I'm excited in anticipation of watching it happen. Thank you Nile for your contribution to FSU as a student.....as a player, and now as an ambassador for the the program going forward.
