Hello and thanks for checking out our channel! The red numbers are our membership numbers for Airstream Club International. Also known as Big Red Numbers, they help identify your Airstream when in large groups, like at rallies. Safe travels.

I volunteer with raptors too and the comment 'there is nothing wrong with her. She was stolen from the nest and kept just long enough to ruin her life' hits hard. It's so true. We have an owl in the same situation. Nothing wrong with her except she was taken by some idiot that thought it would be cool to own an owl. Spoiler alert, it's not, and by the time said idiot realized this, she had imprinted on humans and cannot be released into the wild. She will never be able to live the life she was created for and it's heartbreaking...
@CajunMile4 күн бұрын
It is heartbreaking! She is gorgeous and now lives in captivity because she never properly learned to live in the wild. I posted the video in hopes that it would raise awareness and maybe save a raptor’s life. They are absolutely beautiful creatures. Thanks for watching.

Love the bakflips, we just wanted some extra space, so we did the cap. We loved the antimatter blue, but when we upgraded to the f250, we went with black.
@MikeyO61517 күн бұрын
@ I think the pros outweigh the cons of a topper. I don’t use the length of my bed anyways because it’s so short and we pull a camper and to have a topper when we camp to have the height of the cab to have all our camping stuff back there would just be great. It seems every time we go we have another yeti or more chairs and grills and dog kennels it would be awesome to not have to load that stuff in the camper and just throw it in the truck!

Drain the tank, but I do not think you want anti freeze inside of it. There should be a bypass when pumping the antifreeze through.

topper people are weird they want a truck just so they can look cool but get a topper (no different then a van) and never haul anything the most they are gonna put in the bed is groceries their better off with a van like the chevy express or ford E150 im convinced topper people are just insecure people who wants a truck to look cool but don't actually need one and dont wanna be seen in a van (insecurity) when in actuality they need it more then they think.

Welcome to the Airstream family! The 28’ is a great floor plan. We upgraded from a 16’ Basecamp, and really wanted a hatch. Airstreams are super easy to tow. Grand Designs are nice, they definitely have more room, but I can’t imagine towing a fifth wheel.

We have a 30’ International and did a 3” Lift Kit, an absolute must. Had a 25’ Flying Cloud before that and in my opinion a 3” lift kit on the smaller Airstream is a wait of money.

thats awesome we were also looking at Airstream nuts and bolts for some upgrades, how long was the wait to get service ? i think now they are 1 year out. Did you think of own board generator? Thanks for video
@CajunMileАй бұрын
Ronnie and Tera were great. They took care of us when walking through what we wanted and what we would be using it for and gave us great ideas for what to do while we were in town. We considered the onboard generator, but we don’t quite need it for our use case. I know they aren’t scheduling until at least July of next year. Our wait was about 3 months, but we also did our upgrade the week of the international rally, so we got lucky. Thanks for watching and hope you’ll follow along for more.
@bobatwood1384Ай бұрын
So as a future airstream owner who has done a lot of research (KZbin) I gotta say you nailed this one on options I was considering as wants and MUST HAVES. TAMPA Airstream does install the lift kits I will probably call Ronnie before ordering since I am confident he would do a better Job. New subscriber as well 😎
@CajunMileАй бұрын
Good Morning, we are so glad that we were able to be helpful in your journey to find your airstream. I do know that Ronnie is scheduled out pretty far right now (we were lucky to get in within about 3 months). We definitely decided on the lift after coming very close to scraping a few times, but we have heard that the shorter the trailer the less likely that is to happening. What Airstream have you decided on? We loved our Basecamp and now our Flying Cloud (even more so with some of our upgrades). Thanks for commenting and subscribing and have a great Sunday!

Two year old post but I will share that I have compared 25, 27, and 28 on AIrforums. Basically it is amazing how much the three are alike. First the 25 is a few feet less from the other two, so, the question is what do you gain from the extra few feet? I was able to compare a 25 twin and a 27 twin and, a 28 queen. The primary advantage of the 27 or 28 over the 25 is being able to turn a larger queen bed into a "proper" position. In the twin configuration the 27' ends up with a foot of space at the end of this beds- dead space. The other foot you find providing a larger wardrobe on one side and a bit more counter space on the other. The bathrooms are all about the same size and the 28 offers more seating and fewer kitchen cabinets. My opinion is if you are going to go twin, get a 25 but if you want the queen, get a 27 or 28. Then, focus on dinette preference and you will have your decision.
@CajunMileАй бұрын
Thank you very much for the comment. Great suggestion - I never thought about the dead space at the foot of the bed on the 27 ‘ twin. We ended up purchasing a 27FBQ because, like you mentioned, the bed configuration (and we wanted the hatch, so the 28 wasn’t an option).
@hoytoy100Ай бұрын
They are a bit pricey, but a great upgrade. I’ve installed 6 in my 25 ft and I can put max air exactly where I want it, and close off any others to create some back pressure. Also great for heat from the heat pump. Can put air exactly where I want it at the volume I want and can close down air to spaces not being used.
@CajunMileАй бұрын
We just used it with the heat pump for the first time this week and totally agree. We needed to do something because we were always in 100 degree heat and the OEM vents weren’t doing it for us.

@Mike-te1xxАй бұрын
I have a Z2 on my 24 F350. Total $5k POS. Supposed to be the top of the line. That fit and finish is crap. Big divets in the paint, cracks, the fiberglass is $hit, all wavy, pock marked, places where it wasn't painted at all, freking window screen wasn't attached in places, they over torqued the window frame and bent the moulding. I can't say enough about the lack of quality with the ARE Z2 topper.
@CajunMileАй бұрын
I’m sorry that your experience has been like that. We were told that the warranty on the fiberglass is quite good, have you checked back with your dealer on that? We did have a very small problem with our new topper, but the dealer made it right with us, and even offered to go way above and beyond for us.
@susanbrigham8484Ай бұрын
I think you should remove this video and replace it with the corrections you need to make. It is misleading to people who are watching it and not knowledgable enough to know what your errors are (and those mistakes could lead to damage to someones airstream)
