Strange. Are you running the latest version of Stager and is your computer's operating system up to date. I believe there are some differences on Mac between machines using the M chips and the older Intel. I have an iMac with Intel and everything appears to be in place. You may have to uninstall and then reinstall a clean version of Stager. Let me know how it works out.

@@ulearnedit I have a brand new Mac mini pro running Sonoma and I'm using the latest version of Stager, but it is the free trial... not sure why that would make a difference.

@@redfish-nz It might be that it is the trial version. I am running Sonoma 14.6.1 and it shows up. One thing you can try is downloading a glass material or a 3D object from Adobe Stock, and then copy the material.

Good 3 part videos. Now that photoshop no longer support 3D, but illustrator does, but still not as robust. And a new Adobe dimension 4.o is out, it should be exciting to do it with just 2 applications,

Is it possible to import a blender model that already has materials that were applied in blender? when I import a blender package I designed, the label doesn't seem to come with it.

I've done a few tests with mixed results. The structure rarely translates perfectly, and the graphics are often wacky. I haven't done enough testing to provide a foolproof process. If I need a complex model or scene, I usually stick to Blender. If I need something simple and quick, Stager works best. I'm confident there's a way to prepare a Blender model for use in Stager with good results, but I haven't found it yet. If I crack the code, I'll post a video on the process. @@ulearnedit Same here, getting wacky results. It's just a simple blender file with 1 procedural material UV mapped but it's cutting off most of the texture. Thanks for responding.

Yeah. It is hidden inside Adobe Substance 3D. It replaces Adobe Dimension, that was short-lived. It also requires a separate subscription, which might be another reason it isn't gaining popularity faster. Thanks for the reply.

i use photoshop cc 2023 but the 3d menu doesn't show up in menubar. any other option to export?

Adobe removed some of the 3D options from Photoshop in the newer versions. I think it was part of the plan as they began rolling out Substance 3D. Check out my new video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJrLeXx4gdqmpdksi=FQolHsHO3B60Gsph Virtually the same process, but easier, because you only need Illustrator and Substance 3D Stager.

My vector (Illustrator) files are never crisp in Dimension. I usually export them to PNGs and they look a lot better. Your .ai file in this video is clean and not pixelated. Is there a trick to that?
