my 2018 bolt also was hit in the rear( minor 5 mph) and the blind spot detection system has never worked right since. They changed the bumper. Chevy Dealer told me I got a lemon and I should trade the car in. Now i see why as you can't sue if you don't own the car. Dirty pool again by chevy dealership and secret warranties (2001 3.4 V6 intake manifold gasket) chevy got me twice and now I'm a import man.

Useless for 2013 Honds EX-L V6 because its dashboard doesn't look anything like this. Has no numbers on it. Could you post a video showing how to do it with the 2013 Honda EX-L V6?

Something to consider, my tow mirror harness was severed internally. Fold grey was corroded in half. The green for glass up was broken. 3 other wires looked like a knife went round em. This is the harness inside the mirror itself

I have a 2020 Hyundai Elantra sel and has abrasion on passenger rear side bumper which I think it messed up the blind spot sensor. Bought a used rear sensor for that location and going to see if it works. Mechanic will calibrator charges 150 dllrs to calibrate it. Hope it works thanks for the video

I thought you screw in the sensor bracket into body of vehicle and that's it. If sensor bracket has not been damaged or altered shouldn't that be enough for the right angle? With body damage has been repaired of course.

Man I didn't know the measurements are so much work. I bet ur charging this customer some seriously bookoo dinero? I removed the cabel front the radar sensor because i changed the led grill. After that sensor stopped working. Does it need to be calibrated again ? Obd says its installed too low even tho i put back in the same spot

My question is if i was to buy used one on Amazon or eBay would it still needs to be calibrated? New ones are too expensive and can't afford it. This video was a life saver for me, starting on my second day trying to get it to calibrate. This camera was also installed incorrectly, when snapping it into the windshield bracket the leading edge has two humps that have to be hooked first then rotate the camera body up into the bracket. Evidently this was done wrong at the body shop that sent me the car. Thanks for your information, my Bosch/Hunter ADAS tool knew the Vehicle # but our Snap-On Scanner could run the test, but all numbers have to be manually entered, I was using the zero found in the manual, it never would have worked.

So at the shop today and customer asked me to come in and look at the blind spot bc they replaced the dummy with a actual blind spot and sure enough this was the issue. Decided to just replace the mirror assembly and blind spot that was missing and resolved the. Issue charged for parts and time and done
