Para os brasileiros - Carter afina seu baixo em uma afinação parecida com a de violão tenor (violinha) A D G C.

The video audio is really engaging and captures the real live environment. The talking and whistling sound of an engaged audience, the special announcement. All the sounds you hear and don't hear entices one to go and buy a ticket.

I was there!!! What an outstanding evening with the music and the men I’ve followed for about 5 years and 45 years!! Thank you Rosemary Gerber Dawson for herding us cats and arranging to get together for everything JAZZ.

I have my 1st pressing of this LP! Pretty sure it was WHUR's jazz show that aimed my ears. I moreso appreciate its beauty now that I'm well past my teens when I ventured into your work after 1st becoming a huge Return to Forever fan (so, yeah the jazz rock fusion thing dominated for me then). I only recently discovered Gabor Szabo (love Spellbinder which you're on, too). Now I own just about everything he did, too.

"It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!" ... This is what I humbly call 'baroque jazz': symphonic in tone, quartet in feel, yet down home in essence ... Once again, Maestro: Salute! 🙏

I like your long limbed approach , including your !fingers , which are much bigger than mine . It defines your playing . Also fantastic sound . .. . What about strings , I’m sure bass players around the world are waiting for the drop ! Many thanks and much respect .
