Nice he bought it new and has held onto it. You don't see that too often.

This is my favorite Rolls appearance-wise but I've heard bad things ab out the V8 such as crankshaft problems. If I were in a position to have one I'd seek out the last of the 6 cylinder models which I think was 59 or 60. They look just like this one.

My Dad's white wagon we called the bathtub. Wouldn't rust, couldn't kill it. Tube radio that we could tune into Tokyo with. Was built strong and ran incredibly well. Just a super car. Wished they were still in business.

That's my uncle. He hates it every time we bring this video up 😅 Especially the "out the window wave" at the end, we do it every time we drive away 😂 Love ya' Uncle Jim!

The man knows his stuff. If you're young. You can do most of the stuff on your own. You need a garage to take the parts off. Sand down the car, where it's needed. Do a little body work. It takes patience and time. But when you do it yourself. You'll get more satisfaction, when it's done.

Well'l i would lean towards the Stingray on most aspects ' reliability ' it would win hands down styling is a matter of personal tastes i like the Stingray better. The corvette Stingray is still with us the e-type is not, they could never really make a decent reliable car here in the UK to save there lives i think in all honesty there. The gearboxes on the old Jags were terrible like a lump hammer in a bucket of broken bricks!!!

disagree a lot. You do not have to strip a car to bare metal. Yea you can, but you can also DA the car with 180 grit, 220, then 320. Spray 2 coats of nice primer sealer, then base and clear.

Post war Packard was not the quality-minded company of the pre-war era. The 1950’s Packards were of ever poorer build quality miserable performance, and laughably poor reliability the product had fewer and fewer buyers until they closed the factory half way thru 1956 production.
