Aww beautiful ✨💛 im in Australia 🦘 and i got an app teaching Lakota. Omg its not easy to pronounce the words! This amazing spirit lady makes it sound easy. For example "tatonka" is more "thhha-thhha-nka" kinda like an Arabic sound. Even "Lakota" was more like "Lhhhakota" or something

I wish people could understand how either intentionally or just mindlessly their mispronunciation is so disrespectful ... It takes almost no time to learn the pronunciation of people's names ... And if you are introducing them, and are somehow unable to pronounce a name you should not be on stage ...
