Thank you! I'm getting back into book reading. KZbin has been my entertainment for the last decade or so, but I suddenly have the urge to just start reading books again, for fun. I'm trying to add more fun and joy back into my life. And I like horror and supernatural themes and I already like manga so why not just read a book like I used to back in high school! (I'm 44 now). So that Stephen King book sounds interesting to me. I've never heard of it, but I've read one or two of his books before. I'll add it to my growing list of books! That last one also sounds interesting! (Book of Accidents) I like horror, scifi, fantasy, ummm... what else is there.... I don't really like history books. Unless it's like, fantasy history with magic or something, lol... Anyway, thank you for the video!

So while the novelization was published closer to when the movie was released in 1980, compared to the A New Hope novelization being published about six months prior to the movie being released, it was written before Yoda's look had been finalized, so in the script that the author used as reference, Yoda was indeed described as a blue skinned creature and that's what Ralph McQuarrie's original sketches for the character showed. Also, when the Special Editions were made in the mid '90s, The Empire Strikes Back had the least amount of CGI added to it of the three movies. So the special effects are still mostly the original 1979/1980 special effects, even in the newer version that Disney has on Disney+, so they aren't necessarily going to hold up as much.

It would have been great if like the real luise was also in the end. Somehow rob sees her and get a little frightened and ends. That way it would be more comforting. But now it feels wrong

Robs sex did make us know he prpbably had a bigger plot but still no idea how big of a part of it. I was thinking he becomes obsessed with David and thats what gets him killed.

As someone who only watched the show and didn’t read the book I can say for myself that I had no idea Rob was Adele until I saw them switch. I was completely shocked. I wasn’t sure if Rob was actually gay until the end bc he made a joke about it, but it’s not uncommon for straight men to joke about being gay, so it was more of a “ohhh he really was gay” response for me. I think because you already knew the plot it made everything so obvious, but I was pretty much shocked the entire series. The only thing I suspected from the beginning was Adele somehow knew who Louise was somehow, but I was excited to see how she knew. It gave me something to look forward to. Over all I think it was a pretty fun and exciting show to watch. But from your review I’m even more excited to read the book!

I thought it was clear Rob was gay after meeting David. The way he looked at David, it was quite clear he was crushing on him... And when we see Rob look at the photo and moving his finger across Adele I was thinking "shouldn't you look more on David?". But we got that scene later though, when we saw him zoom in on David in that photo. So at least they didn't trick me there. But I was late to understand that Rob was in Adele though, understood that first when Rob entered Louise's body. :P

I THINK THAT YOU FAIL TO APPRECIATE THE TV SHOW JUST BECAUSE YOU'VE READ THE BOOK FIRST 🤷🏻♂️ THE HINTS ARE NECESSARY TO CONFUSE THE MINDS OF THE VIEWERS.

I think the point of the tv series was to keep the audience guessing between who murdered rob.... they let us see the well early on so we knew there was someone dead inside us.... and then throughout the series we keep wondering who was capable of murder adele or david or both? So it was nice to surprised right in the end and find out the homicidal one was rob
@Readysetgo2007 Жыл бұрын
We like see Rob's body down there, so sure Rob is the one who died. And really it was Rob who was the evil one. Such a twist...
