Можно ли составлять на этом инструменте аранжировку? Можно ли его связать с аранжировщиком или с рабочей станцией?

Yes it is possible, it has extensive midi controls that can be accessed via midi cable or usb. It has built in arranger using the 8 tracks with 16 clip lanes per track. You can then use scene chaining to link together groups of clips to arrange a song.

Yep videos featuring me performing on the MC707 are "dawless", as in it is all performed and recorded straight from the synth to the video! You can create a whole track on the MC707 without a computer for sure!

you use the hashtag dawless on some of your videos, are these fully dawless? they sound so sick and i'm considering buying the mc707 if it requires not outside inputs or daw. love your work

Oh yes. Nice work! And first time I see someone make good use of the scatter function. I'm really struggling to use that in a musical way.

Thanks for the comment 😁 Yes it's so hard to get the timing right with the scatter function sometimes but I love adding a bit of variation to the tracks whilst I'm performing, such a nice feature to have!

@@apexmachina Yeah, I sometimes like the effect too, but usually I'm too occupied with everything (or my brain is just too slow) that I'm sticking to knobs, scenes and mutes. PS, is that a looped drum, or one shots?
@apexmachina
@apexmachina Жыл бұрын
@@tricks-and-tips yeah it would be cool if we could arrange scatter functions per scene or on a seperate clip. I read something about midi loop back to have a clip playback midi notes to engage scatter. I might get a cheap seperate sequencer that has 128 steps and try that instead 🤔

Nice work, mate. Finally an MC-707 jam that's not some generic techno or house. Don't get met wrong, I LOVE techno, but it's nice to hear something different. I tend to make heavier tracks most of the time and I've been wanting to hear someone get a little meaner with this machine. I know there are several distortion types onboard and no one ever seems to be using any distortion on their tracks with the 707. Distortion is key to my sound. Is it possible to conjure a mean reese bass? Two detuned saws going through distortion and a modulated notch filter with a sub bass layer (sine wave). I know the synth engine can handle it, but I just wonder if it sounds fat? Are there some big, meaty kicks onboard? Fat 808 basses? You're the first person I've seen push it into a little moodier territory, which I like. I do industrial influenced bass music as well as some techno, drum n bass and the occasional dubstep track. I used to play shows with an MC-505 and I loved that method of doing things. I've been thinking of picking up the 707. I really need to get my hands on one and see if I get along with the workflow and the sounds. I like what you've done here, keep it up!
