WTT organization really has the main responsibility in their withdrawal actions for sure. With so many commercial competitions plus national championships around the year, those players are no doubt getting tired and injured, the new penalty rule with fine is absurd when the winning prizes are such a small amount for the winners compared with the tennis tournament. Can WTT comes out and shows the players how much they earned in a competition from the sales of entry tickets, sponsorship from corporates and other related income? Wondering how dare the WTT asked for a fine if any players not joining the competition with a "good reason", this is like an invisible life contract for slaves to do a 'performance' for WTT forever. The players can only choose to take it or leave it, how sad! It's definitely not for a good reason to promote the table tennis like the WTT used to do anymore? I guess as a table tennis fans who should also reconsider if we should buy the entry ticket to support this organization if they act so cruel to our favorite hard working players! I believe as a table tennis lovers who should really give a space for the players to rest, especially in players' private life and fans shouldn't attack other players on social media platform, not a right way to show your 'real support' to your own favourite player anyway. Not a mature action and we have no right to harm others when each of the players are working so hard for their dreams! A very upsetting day to hear the two bad news in a row.
