I see this as a result of a snowball effect that started when Ninty fans got pissed off about Tropical Freeze not being a new Metroid Prime game. The game lost money and had to be marked down, Its re-release on Switch was a 2nd chance to recoup losses, but Ninty fans were still hesitant to support it. So Returns HD was the best we could hope for when the majority of Nintendo fans haven't been supportive of DK for over a decade now.

Yeah idk. Nintendo needs to offer something more similar to gamepass and throw some of these ports on there. I love my switch from a hardware standpoint but I rarely play it cause I’m just over paying 60 to 70 dollars per game.

I’d be more willing to buy the game if it offered something new, the 3DS port added so many different features. (As far as we know) All Nintendo is doing is making it HD. If they added something like online co-op then I’d be much more interested

Nah bro thats not cheating at all, walkthroughs are sometimes necesary, I'd rather use one than lose hours on a section of the game and get no fun. Don't bother with arbitary labels of what a "true gamer" if you are not having fun in the first place

I’d say you’re still a gamer. I remember using a walkthrough for a Link to the past a few times because I kept getting stuck. Besides, walkthrough guides were super common place back in the 80s/90s.
