Thank you for sharing that, Dee. I have that verse on the back of my business card so that I can share it with people as often as I have opportunity. Is there a reason this video prompted that verse?

If I understand you correctly, yes, the children in the secret garden create a very interesting world. We just had one of our little ones go in there for the first time last week. He was completely enthralled with this world that was now his.

Why is it called the Secret Garden?
@MonteVigh5 жыл бұрын
The story "The Secret Garden" (novel/movie) came to mind when we were landscaping this corner of our yard for our daycare children. We wanted it to convey a sense of being a special place for the children to go off into their own little world of adventures. When the maple tree is in full leaf, it closes the area off from the rest of the yard so that, even though it is a fairly small place, the Little Ones definitely see it as a world of their own. Since this is an area that is for our older children, it also gives a special "rite of passage" to look forward to. We often see the younger ones (toddlers) standing at the fence gazing in with wonder at what it would be like in there. The day they first pass through the gate into that new world is an amazing expression of the childhood wonder we love to see in our children. As us big kids listen in to the stories they create while visiting the Secret Garden, we are blessed with our own feelings of wonder to share in their world.

+Cayla Byk It would be nice if someone knew how to take individual audio vocal recordings and combine them into a "group". I know it can be done.

I have been looking for the lyrics to this song for 20 years. I remembered the first verse but only part of the second verse. Thank You for taking the time to put this up!

+22dietcoke You are welcome. A few people I went to college with back in the late '70's were looking for the song as well. It was very hard to find anything about it on the internet! It certainly is a humble and heartfelt prayer.

johan Schep I am thankful for the way this song stirs up that longing, and reminds us of the certainty of God's promises to all who trust in Jesus. I am glad that you are encouraged with this reminder of our certain hope in Jesus Christ.

In our journey through Revelation I often find myself back in Romans 8, following the theme of "we are more than conquerors through him who loved us" (vs 37). Today I found this song, made a singable version for our home church, and think it will be one of our Revelation theme songs. That is certainly what the book of Revelation is about.

It is actually the resurrection of Jesus Christ that has been proven by more eye witnesses than would ever be required to hold to something as true. Evolution was not witnessed when it supposedly happened, it has never been witnessed in the whole course of scientific exploration, and it is not being witnessed in the present time. Jesus is still transforming lives, so I will trust the improvements he makes, rather than imagining that evolution can make any improvements at all.

My message was to one of our home churches, and pastors/elders is simply the primary focus when we talk about leadership. The same would be applied as we look at other ways that God uses leaders to keep watch over people's souls.

it said leaders ...it did not says leaders means Pastor or elders only on this verse...you just interpret
