Got one on a 2021 bt50 .. been nothing but trouble . Dealers multiple times . Cleaned . Adjusted .. wont unlock sometimes . Rarely works via the buttons 95% of the time its in manual so we can get it open . HUGE disappointment.

Oh no! I got this one but a manual version from mazda dealer this week when i had my first 15k km service for bt-50 2023. I thought the speed of opening the electric version looks slow so that i decided to have the manual one. However, I dont like one of the features from this manual version that i cannot open my tailgate until i release that built-in latch handle... I was trying to buy a soft tonneau from mazda genuine accessory (much cheaper) but my local mazda dealer staff doesn't know how secure their soft tonneau is...

How should the parts hold if they are only screwed below? They are only on the outside of the fender at the top, and are not glued there, as with other manufacturers. What happens at 100 km/h on the highway?

They don’t move mate. I just put some on today. The fit is good too. Wanna be. Cost $900 for about $200 of unpainted plastic. The U-nuts are rubbish though. Made of thin steel instead of solid material. I snapped one quite easily. Lucky I had some at home. The instructions are the usual vague pictures from a Chinese factory. Nothing is quality anymore.

Yep fitted my rears today. The instructions are crap. They do seem like half decent quality 👌

Hi EGR! Really great stuff, I wanna get one, however, I have some concerns about the ECU central locking integration for the Ford RA Raptor. I have discovered that it is possible to get not only a Raptor keyfob from Ford that includes the roller top open/close button, but also a specific roller shutter button on the headlamps instrument cluster. . . Is it possible for EGR to make use of these buttons, instead of double pressing the lock/unlock buttons which also end up locking /unlocking all the other doors?. Please let me know. My worry is that the roller top might open when I don't need it to open (because i normally set my driver's door to open at first press, and then all the other doors to open at second press. This is for security reasons). and it means I can't have the roller shutter opening on second press, unless I actually want it to. I think it would be great to take advantage of the roller shutter specific buttons designed by Ford and intergrate such control with you E3 system.

The first one came missing parts the plugs broken and no keys so I had to order another to replace the first one do get it done in a timely manor. We build aircraft for a living and this was a pain to install the instructions are cave man and you will have to cut down an allen wrench to build it it will take 2 guys 8 hours and when all said and done the dam thing just opens up whenever it wants to going down the road. The mfg. is no help at all and in the end took 1 month to install and I have yet to receive a credit on the first one I returned so I will let the credit card company handle it. Great idea cool the way it works and if you did it for a living I sure it could be done faster but not a DIY cover. I have installed many Bakflip covers no issues but this thing is a piece of work...
