@ I do. But the majority of my flight simulator flying right now is 10 to 12 hour long haul cargo flights out of Anchorage or Miami, Currently with the a300F. Take off go to bed wake up land, then takeoff go to work come back land I’ve just been looking forward to a more modern., quality, long haul cargo

@@v1rotatev230 Just get the TFDi MD-11F. As a fellow cargo flyer I've absolutely fallen in love with it. I've got other planes aswell, but still I find myself flying the MD-11. I love it's sounds, landing difficulty, everything!

@ I do have the MD 11 it’s a little bit more hands-on than the A300 which I like, but I haven’t had the time to learn it as in depth yet so I haven’t flown it that much on long haul I’ve done some shorter haul ops. But one thing I love about the MD-11 is its range is far more than the A300. I’m definitely limited without a tail wind with the range of the A300. But I am going to keep working with the MD-11. Also would like to see a nice 747F as well one day

Doubtful. The work is too far along to do that as Asobo have already stated that if it's made for MSFS24 that it won't work in MSFS20. So, they will stay the course on the FS20 version, which still should work in FS24, and then update it as needed to add all the FS24 additions(like modularity, wear and tear, and the walk around)

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised. Or they wait until they can fully test it to be sure it's compatible on both 2020 & 2024. Thanks for watching and for commenting my friend!

Hey Harry, there probably won't be too many differences between the 777w and 777f versions of the aircraft. A few notable differences will include: Physical Model: The 777F has a shorter fuselage than the 777W, similar to the 777-200 body. This results in a different visual appearance and slightly different aerodynamics. The freighter model also has a large cargo door on the left side of the fuselage, which can be animated, along with other cargo holds. Performance: The 777F is designed to carry heavy cargo loads rather than passengers, so its Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) and fuel capacity are tailored for longer-range cargo hauls. Flight Dynamics: The freighter version will handle differently on takeoff, landing, and in-flight due to the weight distribution and structure. This means a slightly different center of gravity and handling characteristics, especially at different weight loads. Cockpit Displays: There could be slight display variations, mainly reflecting load and balance for cargo rather than passenger distribution. However, overall cockpit layouts and features should remain very similar, given the focus on the same Boeing 777 flight deck architecture. Obviously, the PMDG 777F will be particularly appealing for simmers who enjoy cargo operations, offering an authentic experience of heavy-haul flights with distinct handling and operational nuances.

@@SimFanatic I know there will be subtle differences but I wish PMDG would have done the different variants like TFDi did with the MD-11. TFDi gave you the option to purchase either the cargo or passenger variant for the same price and then if you wanted both it was $10 more. PMDG will price a new variant as if it is a completely new aircraft like they did the 737.

Harry, I totally agree with you. I’m kinda sick of companies charging so much money for only slight differences in these airplanes. Feels like 80 bucks should get me the whole shabang, money just doesn’t go as far these days.

@@MrJatinmandal You can try ultra but you may find better performance on lower settings. The good news is MSFS has several settings that can be tweaked so although you probably won't be able to run everything ultra, you may be able to have some settings at ultra.

Good question, unsure given an i7-3770k doesn't meet the minimum requirement, but it may. MSFS does a hardware check before it starts and depending on hardware specs, it may or may not launch. I suspect with your hardware, it will load, so time will tell. I suspect it will work at some level; especially given your memory and GPU, and that your CPU does have 4 cores and eight threads (i7-6800K has 6 cores and 12 threads for comparison). Again, I can't say for sure. If you have XBOX or PC Game Pass, you will get 2024 for "free" and could try it. If not, you can do one month and try it for $11.99 before buying it. Good luck!
