My parents lived not far away for 5 years. I loved visiting in the winter. A really nice spot.

The beach is on Manasota Key near Blind Pass Beach and it is beautiful.

@@JuliePurcellVideo get there early . There are literally hundreds of shark teeth washed onshore over night. It's quite unbelievable to walk the beach and find teeth right out in the open.

My wife and I are looking for a small retirement town. Does a beach community with sparsely populated beaches exist in Florida? How does Englewood rate?
