Amazing! It's 2024. Just now learning piano by going through the Faber Adult Adventures books. The fact that you took the time to say out loud when to press the pedal down and hold it makes learning proper pedaling so much easier to understand. Thank you! You're wonderful.

Thank you for uploading your performance of this piece, very nice playing! I have a question, what is the tempo of this song? In the book it’s in 6/8 with dotted quarter at 108 but I don’t have compound time on metronome so I put triplets in 2/4 at this tempo but it seems fast.

Don't worry too much about the time signature. 108 beats per minute is 108 beats per minute regardless, right? So you just need to listen to a metronome at 108 beats per minute and then each beat will take up the time of a dotted quarter / 3 8th notes. So count (beat) 1 and a (beat) 2 and a.
