Thanks for sharing this, but I have to ask - is that a focus gear on a fuji 35 1.4 in the beginning?
@razorbladeweddingsmedia77944 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the feedback! No that lens is the mitakon 35mm f0.95, it's a fully manual lens. Not a fly by wire lens 😁. Most of this wedding video is shot with that lens.
@MattKitchenStories4 жыл бұрын
Razor Blade Media makes sense, thanks. I thought you guys used a lot more rokinon ds glass then what I saw. Is this older or are you switching things up?
@razorbladeweddingsmedia77944 жыл бұрын
@@MattKitchenStories we only use fuji glass for photography really as they don't focus well manually. We finished half this season with samyang cine lenses, towards the end we used sigma arts, the mitakon and some old Russian vintage lenses like the helios etc
@MattKitchenStories4 жыл бұрын
Razor Blade Media so what's been your favorite? I am shifting from fuji glass to sigma art and trying to decide if I want to try samyang/rokinon cine.
@razorbladeweddingsmedia77944 жыл бұрын
@@MattKitchenStories each have their pros and cons. For us we find the sigma arts (18-35 & 50-100 f1.8) are just fantastic for events. Wide focal range, fast, sharp, proper manual focus. And it makes shooting much faster, which is key for any live event work. But the samyangs do have a dreamy look if that's what you're going for. Our favourite samyang cine was the 35mm t1.5 which we used most of the time.
