I like the guitar treatment for the main parts of the song - it’s doable like this without the keys - However the lack of multiple backup singers makes this sound very very empty. The 1 backup singer is on point but it’s like a desert out there without at least 2 backup singers. Then the guitar “shredding” at the end with the over-processed stereo guitar is another desert. It’s a great song though.

He's lipsyncing this song because it never changes from live to recorded.

John has still got a great voice! But he needs a better band! I will play guitar or bass, and he needs the backup singers or a recording at least! c

Sounded great. The crowd did some nice sing along. Made me wonder what Pavement would sound like with 3 female backup singers.

This song is sooo damn good, Cloakroom is my favorite band right now. I bought there vinyl of Dissolution Wave and I haven’t heard a great album like that since. The whole album’s aesthetic vibe of shoegaze/grunge but with an original sound.

I think this might be an unreleased song by them. Based on the lyrics I couldn't find anything so I don't think it's a cover.
