You're using aternos? It's easier to just port-forward it yourself if you've got decent pc.

Yes, we are using a free server from aternos, as we don't have a pc available to dedicate to running a server full-time. We are also using GeyserMC to make it crossplay.

Out of curiosity, in theory if I had a pc I could use for this task 24/7, why would I "port-foward" versus letting someone else handle the hosting for free? Not entirely sure what that phrase is supposed to mean exactly, although a little searching made it look like it was some sort of self-hosting the server.

I am aware that I sound awkward as heck, lol. Between being autistic and not getting much practice with my mic on Twitch over the winter, I am kinda out of my groove with talking into "the void." That should improve over the next few months as I get back into using my mic on Twitch and making more KZbin videos.
